I bought my 2013 DS5 in 2016 used. It hasn’t given me any problems. Lovely car and it ages well. It looks newer than it is! :)

I've had mine for nearly 3 years now 2014 2.0hdi dsport Ive done roughly 70k miles. Car is on 120k No problems other than wear and tear.

Well my DS5 is a 2013 and I have had very little problem,a window winder needed replacing ,suspension top mounts,and front springs,my car has the 165 bhp diesel this is a tried and tested engine and has given no problems,my car has never failed a MOT it is serviced every year,one thing that must be changed is the ATF in the auto gearbox I would suggest every 40 thousand miles and make certain the correct ATF is used,the car looks far newer than it is the shape has worn well.

When the last comment about the car in the video was death, it's time to rethink!

5 years now, bought used at 70k km, now at 135k km. 2.0 hdi, 163 hp, only reverse camera broke...200 euros fix.

Lool I have the same issue I think it’s a common issue with these cars but still lovely cars in out

Had my 2017 2.0bluehdi 180 for 4yrs,130k on the clock and never missed a beat

Just had the alternator brushes fail after 215k km. Advisable for preventive replacement.

Depends which model I have had plenty of reliable ones.I had the c5 1 and model 2 in 2 litre, 1.6 and 2.2 , Xantia, ZX all decent cars..The C5 being nice and reliable mile hungry comfortable cars as was the Xantia.These faults can be on new cars that go back to the dealer in the first 6 months. In fact plenty of makes have there faults Kia, BMW, Audi , Ford etc

What about the thp200 engines? Any ciritcal problems?

Diesel 20. HDI, at about 140k de DPF fluid will run out. One needs to buy 5 liter, which is expensive. Remove DPF if in your country they don't care, and reprogram ECU. AT 150k front suspension bushes will be gone, and the top McPherson rubber too. Get originals. Get new front socks at the same time. At 200k the brushes in the alternator are worn out. If automatic headlights don't work anymore, then replace "brightness sensor" in dashboard. If persistent vibration, then check front wheel centre wheel bearing nut. Must be 200 nm. I have a non-solvable problem with the aircon.

any one had problem with the fan in the car ? change the fan for 2 years ago and no it doesn´t work again ?

With this engine, you maybe survive a test drive but some parts of the engine breaks down within a few months. Anyone looking to buy a car with a THP engine? You should look at other engine options or even change the car brand. This kind of engine is an absolute disaster.

I have an DS5 2.0HDI SportChic (2013), the only issue that I had was the front springs at 176.000 Kms. I will buy other one the latest produced version. The manual gear box the average consumption at 90 in Highway 3.8/4.2, 120-5.3-5.8, now comes the best at 160/180 and more, I was not able to pass the 7.5-8 liter as average (my car max speed was 217kms). No stress the car is in Germany, so a lot of Autobahns. Now regarding the Hybrid Model the only negative parts that I heard was slow gear passage and super automated, not different from VW/AUDI DSG gearbox. I think you need to pay attention if you drive in the city and less kms pay attention the the motor cooling liquid and valve, is a Diesel and Diesels more time warm up and tend to damage that part. You need from time to time to clean the tiny MAS sensor, you can do yourself is super easy and saves a lot of fuel. Is a robust car and looks always a car from other championship, we are in 2022 and the car still beautiful and update. I was thinking to move to a DS7 or the new DS4, no way they are not better than DS5. Is this type of car that pass from concept car to Production and PSA was smart! This car it will be good for collection, think in the future! The cars nowadays are like nothing, stupid, big tablets in the board instruments...! Ah you will not save a lot of fuel just because the car is Hybrid, forget that!

@@mikebooker1440 I own one DS5 2.0 HDI 165 in Germany since 2013 and I have experience with such engine and car. So far these are the issues that I found in my car that I explained above. I talked with other owners and the issues are cosmetic, means the car has not stopped in the road needing assistance. The same engine I have tested in a Citroen Picasso which I sold out with 320.000Kms, the only issue at 165K was the cable of the pedal for changing the gear. Most common issue are the poor service of some Garage including the ones from Citroen which leads for future issues on the car. Regarding sensors I make myself the changing using always the original parts!
