Use Your Leftover Brisket for this SMOKED BRISKET COTTAGE PIE - Comfort Food on the Grill!

Whether you call it brisket cottage pie or brisket shepherd's pie, I just call it delicious and the ultimate comfort food on the grill! And a great leftover brisket recipe!
We start with leftover smoked brisket, and cut it into cubes. Braise the brisket with beef consomme, garlic, and a bit of Worcestershire sauce until tender. Add in your sauteed vegetables with some flour and a bit of tomato paste to form a gravy with the beef consomme and drippings from the brisket. Make your favorite homemade mashed potatoes (we like to add horseradish to ours), and you're ready to build your brisket cottage pie.
If you're looking for ways to use leftover brisket and you're craving a hearty comforting meal on the grill or smoker, give this smoked brisket cottage pie recipe a try!

There is an awesome use for leftover Brisket! I’ll sock this away for cold weather! …. The great thing about this channel is the creative content not just copycat stuff! I also must say your chopping - slicing segments are extremely rewarding to watch, best on the internet. 😂🤣😂 Keep cooking kids!

Thanks Neal - Why would you ever want to peel a potato? The skin is the very best tasting and healthy part of it. My mom used to grind up the leftover roast beef from our sunday dinners for the next weeks "shepards pie". - it was always awesome. - Cheers!

Liquid in it not very appealing. Should be more gravy like.
