Hi there Sam! Thanks to your helpful tutorial I managed to get my Ipad (air 5th generation) working as a second monitor for my Windows PC (Ideapad 3 14ALC6). Also I’ve tinkered with the settings to get higher resolution though I couldn’t do anything about the refreshing hertz, it was fixed to 30hz. Anyway I tried Blender, playing ‘Unpacking’ and it works fine with touch and apple pencil. Thank you so much and have a blessed day Sam :)

Well got my iPad pro 11 setup as secondary display. I click the ipad screen and the PC mouse goes over to it and can't get it back to windows without disconnecting. Also does this support as an extension where mouse can be moved back and forth between windows PC and the ipad? Kinda useless if it doesn't.

You deserve more recognition. I admire your tutorial style. Just like the old days. Perfect for someone like me who is using a Windows 7 themed Windows 11 on an iPad Pro for color grading in Premiere Pro haha

Unfortunately it doesn't offer any advantages. Inputlag is as high as with wireless connection and it is impossible to overcome 30 fps.

I found a way to increase the refresh rate to 60: From the ipad app go to settings then Quality/performance, then you can find the FPS rate and you can customize the image quality/latency

Its a nice video but i have a problem, i cant have 2 diffrent windows open. So basicaly it duplicates it for me and shows the same thing on the ipad and on the monitor

try changing the display property to "extend these displays" instead of "duplicate these displays"

This worked even with the cable and no wifi

You have to change setting through app on iPad it has icon bottom left to get 60
