Thanks again for the video. I stumbled on a way to cast (or is it mirror?) KZread TV from an Android phone to the TV set. In the Roku settings, i was unable to get the Roku to recognize my phone. So I downloaded and installed the "Roku Screen Mirroring + Cast" app on my phone, which then prompted me to install it on the Roku. I couldn't get it to work. But, when I opened the KZread TV app on my phone, I noticed that my Firestick was one of the devices I could cast to. I casted to the Firestick, and saw that the video on the TV set was not blacked out! Of course, if the internet is down, I would have to use a second phone to hotspot the data to both the casting phone and the Firestick. Or, I could just hotspot the data directly to the Roku or Firestick, and watch KZread TV directly that way. Just thought I would share these thoughts with you.

@@bigd8628 You don't need to change the TTL for a cell phone. It's alreay set to what you need. But the moment you tether is is going to throttle when you reach your data limit. That is why you need to use the phone adapter to connect to your TV because the cell phone does not limit the data. The alternative is to get an Insty Connect and put a SIM card in it to share data for all devices in your home. The Insty Connect has the TTL setting that will let you go past the data limit.

Not sure if the moto g but youll only need to find a hdmi adapter made for that phone and it will transfer the screen directly to the hdmi input on your tv. Super simple.

Something doesn't make sense here. At 2:16, the narrator says that you can use an hdmi/usb-c adapter to transfer the video and audio from the phone to the T.V., but at 2:50, he says that yo need a different type of system to transfer video from the phone to the T.V., which he refers to as "Mirroring". Isn't what he described at 2:15 "Mirroring"?

  • @SeleTraining

Visible Wireless offers unlimited hotspot data, with plans costing $30 and $45 per month. The $30 plan can "deprioritize" customers, but with the $45 plan, there will be less or no deprioritzation. Although for $50 per month you can get Verizon home internet.
