Despite what you'd expect of covert ops agents, this series feels so direct and aggressive, just bashing people to death with a unit they weren't expecting en masse. It's extremely invigorating to watch you apply such a simple conceptual strategy with such amazing execution, varying up your approaches, showing how versatile the ghost can be.

As a terran i can say, seeing a protoss lose tô the invisible Man feels so good

I love it. Watching the interesting builds and strategies in the lower MMR ranges is fun and all. I can't wait for you to get to 5,5k range to see how those games will unfold. I used to ghost rush protoss and zerg when I used to play before my daughter was born. Now I just don't have the time to practice and play ladder. If you rush cloak and get 2 ghosts out across the map you can usually smash their eco. If you synchronize the 2 ghost's shots you can 1 shot drones before they regen the 1 hp. If protoss doesn't go robo first it's gg because you can just avoid any cannons they build in response and easily drop their probe count to single digitsif not 0 outright. I am definitely not anywhere near as good obviously. In my casual playing I have only ever been in platinum, but definitely a strategy to use if you want to cheese a game or 2. Proxying the ghost academy against zerg is also hilarious, because if they fly an overlord to scout they will have no idea.

i have question, does when the "you are under attack" alarm go up, any alarm after that is cancel? what happen if you sneak a ghost behind their base, another ghost to shoot and bait and trigger the alarm, then quickly fire the nuke, does the nuclear launch detected alarm still play for the enemy?

It might not be woth the money, but maybe you can consider the building armour/buillding space upgrade, makes your bunkers better, since you need to rely on them to defend so much. Maybe even the PF range upgrade -- although if you have money for that you're probably better off just starting 1/1

I've never seen ultras win a game, I came up with a few ideas how they should improve them, 1. have no collision with zerglings, and protect them while zerglings are under them, that would make them much more powerful 2. give them an aura, when nearby enemies are in it, they can be slowed or stunned when hit

As it is going to get harder you should be able to spend your minerals adding hellions/hellbats. Those heroes deserve the penguin backup!

You can lift your natural cc for a moment to get vision on the overlord pillars, you only lose a few seconds of mining but you deny their vision for many minutes.

You should delay the 3rd nuke for a bit so you can kill the workers inside the harvesters (probably) and the enemy could move some units there thinking the nuke is done but there's another

sniping all those ultras, yeeeeeeesh!

Supported by mass hellbats. Medivac + hellbat + ghost crushes most non-caster armies.

This is the best series. You ain't getting to GM with just Ghosts though. Gonna need to at least add tanks and a couple vikings to get out of masters.

20:10 Ikr? Terran should be able to upgrade planetaries again so they can fly that would be sick. Like a big, slow, fat BC/mothership hybrid.

Fund Raising suggestion: usually Amazon or some other site will create T-shirts, jackets, etc. for people as vanity gear. This can be done as KZread extra cash fillers. FalconPaladin (KZread and Twitch SC1 & SC2 caster) does this. This might be a way to earn extra money. Fans would likely want to have uThermal T-shirts and such.

You'll see it called "rapid fire (hotkey)". Go to Hotkeys > Global > Unit management > Choose Ability or A.I. Target and add a key of your liking to it. Iirc it works like this: Press ability button -> hold shift -> hold down rapid fire key (the one you just set before) -> ??? -> Profit Works for quickly warping in a unit en masse if you give it the rapid fire key as well. If you want maximum effectiveness, in windows you can set the keyboard repeat delay to the shortest, and repeat rate to the fastest. Hope this helps.

Wondering this too, I went at 0.25 speed once and he seems to be making little circles over their groups of units.. But no clue how he only snipes things once and doesn't accidental over sniper?

Hey I tested with a friend a while back, and the nuclear launch detected alert has a delay of about 1.5 seconds or something. So I like to imagine starting 4 nukes in different locations but only 1 alert, and an opponent only catching one of them and thinking they're safe. It would be cool to see you try 3 or 4 simultaneous nukes to see the response.

When I watch these pros it's a dramatically different experience for me. These guys are sitting so calmly at 5 minutes in and 10 minutes. The enemy dosent really bother them. Then they walk over and do their thing. For me!!! 4-5 minutes in the game I'm getting attacked, harassed constantly, and and it stays like that without a pause until the end of the match. It's not a league thing either. It's the same thing on the bronze to GM series. Super calm passive opponents. I swear that doesn't exist for me. oh and every time I win, I get whispered and accused of hacking or told to go f myself in some way.

I think this is the application of game knowledge and build optimisation when pro players play. I watch harstem a lot and he often accurately predicts the things that the opponent is doing while playing because he has a very good understanding of build timing. As mentioned in the Art of War, 'If you know yourself and your enemy, you can fight a hundred battles without danger'. I think very often us lower league players are afraid because we don't know what the opponent is doing or is capable of doing. I find that when you can identify things like the direction of their tech choices and the amount of army that can be supported on x eco, it really allows you to play more confidently. I guess it also helps that these players have 10 years of muscle memory and outclass 99.9% of the ladder in APM :P
