This example is just funny. I see other videos show exactly oposite. They say find your niche, if you just place a flower there and some words here, nobody will buy it because you have no specific audience. This shop must be a rich company, not a single person like us and they must pay enormous amounts of money to advertise. You mislead people showing such a store. Thousands of people will spend next weeks making pictures in Midjourney and they will never sell anything. People think whatever you place on thirts will magically sell. You can easily spend 1000$ for ads and sell nothing. That's how reality looks like.

I don't think she is trying to say you can create anything and it will sell. The flower is just an example. Even though I know there are people who will take it literally. It's just a short example to show what mid journey can do. You would still need to create something based off your own research. But now you know about this tool in case you run into an idea that may need it. The possibilities of what you can create are available.

And it's so sad, because people that are suffering with poverty, especially Third World Country KZread users, ends up losing their self awareness to this kind of content that will lead them nowhere. Can you imagine? YT channels like this rely on guesses from third-party apps that can be inaccurate when it comes to sales numbers. And the Tuber doesn't take into account the age of the store and their current database of buyers and social media followers. There's MUCH MORE to selling online than just putting a design on a t-shirt and posting it on Etsy or Shopify. POD and Etsy are over-saturated and you really need to niche down to be successful.

I notice everyone is talking about the competition on Etsy. If you didn’t get in Etsy early then it will be challenging and the fees are a bi*ch! But How about you take ownership over your own life, business and create your own website. Run ads! You don’t have to rely on any other platform. Approach it like a business and not a hustle.

Fine explanation for one minute. However, to get there requires lot of work and experiment, patience and hard cash for the marketing. I'm in sale business whole my life and I want to quote Tom Hopkins (How to Master the Art of Selling book - very inspirational for the beginners by the way): "If the selling is easy, it would be as low paid business as you are in a fish factory as a simple worker." So again, yes, it can be done, but its not for anyone.

You vectorize in Illustrator, do some touch up, and ready to go. But it takes time. Once you get thousands of listings in Etsy. You are set for a steady income. Not getting rich but it's a nice living (even thriving) passive income. That said 95% make a living but don't get rich. Enough for many.

Your result will be very different. There is a lot of randomness to the algorithm. For any prompt, once you identify what you wish to prompt the algorithm, you should refresh it many, many times to get a range of options to choose from & to then narrow further down. I'll have a video up showing that in 1-2 days. I did show the prompt on screen, the prompt is "minimalist black line art of a sunflower top down on a white background" with the detail set to high using v5

AI can't be copyrighted, so everyone else has the same rights to use the image on their products if they please. So no one can sell the rights to use it without it being a scam. Selling the file maybe, but anyone who buys/saves it has equal rights to sell or redistribute it.

I saw a video posted yesterday about problems with using Canva designs for POD as they are now not permitted for that use. Have you any info on that?

Yes. First of all, to clarify, it did NOT state that Canva was banned for POD. There was a post in the Canva Facebook group by a moderator, who is NOT an admin, and is NOT an employee of Canva, who made a post stating that the PRO images were not allowed to be used for POD. She clarified that the free images and elements were, based on her interpretation of the TOS, fine. However, she is not an employee of Canva. That post blew up and got a lot of replies (understandably) from people quoting the support staff of the Canva licensing team, who had directly told them multiple times that PRO elements were fine and allowed for POD products. The admins, who ARE Canva employees, locked the post and stopped people from commenting. They did not confirm what that post from the moderated said. They locked the post and ignored it. In addition, people have been emailing the support team as a result, asking again for clarification. And the replies have been that yes, PRO elements is allowed for POD, and that is based on Canvas license TOS as written on their website. We are waiting for more updates, but that is the situation as it stands. It would be nice if someone from Canvas legal department would weigh in, because this moderator (who is not an employee of Canva) is directly contradicting Canvas support staff from within the licensing team who consistently say yes. Either way, that is the situation. No matter what, if you would like to use the free elements (of which there are hundreds of thousands to choose from!) then that is absolutely within their TOS. 🙏

Yes I am using the paid version. I definitely recommend it because the free version gives your images a Creative Commons license, rather than a commercial license: docs.midjourney.com/docs/plans

For those who are lazy, I have been researching thig before i saw her video. Midjourney to run effectively will cost you a subscription that costs $1200/yr. You will not make the money these youtubers claim. Only those who were in the front get it and once its burned out, rheyre on the next thing that no one knows about. This TShirt thing has been burned out since 2020.

Mid journey images are small if print is 300dpi...

I like the information but he happy with a good legit way to make 1450 a month

I usually like Sam’s videos but imho… lately like so many other influencers, these are next to impossible for the average person, like this one is. $5k a month with all the competition today? Plus… net income may be $1200 take away of which you would have to pay taxes and run ads. And Midjourney is not easy and is now a paid membership, this is an affiliate for her to make money. What are the legalities for licensing? You can do better Sam.
