Ctrl + D and Ctrl + Shift + L These are the ones I always wanted to learn but had no idea how to Google it. Thanks!!

Nice, didn't know about ctrl+d! It's hard enough to remember so many key bindings, but my wires always get crossed with the Visual Studio key bindings. Would be so cool if we could export and import key bindings between the two programs

VSCode editing shortcuts are pretty cool, imo.

I've always used Ctrl+F2 instead of Ctrl+Shift+L, and I'm sure it does the same thing.

Try selecting with mouse wheel clicked :) and try alt + Ctrl combination :)

I've a habit of using ctrl+shift+down/up to select multiple lines of text because of microsoft words, sadly it doesn't work the same way in vs code :(

My personal favourite is ctrl+shift+down (or up) to put a cursor at multiple lines, the only annoying thing is if I overshoot, is there anyway to undo the last cursor without having to get the mouse out?

I think the only way to undo that would be to alt click on the extra cursors to delete them

VS is just an abbreviation of Visual Studio. So no; VS Code _is_ Visual Studio Code.

@@RickWilliamsPlus that works, or hold Alt and click or another way to add cursors above or below with keyboard only Once you have multiple cursors, just start typing and it appears, or removes, from each cursor at the same time. Just search for "VSCode multiple cursors" for more

I switched and got used to it in just 2-3 days. It is really exaggerated nowadays, vim motions are very easy and straightforward. I mean I use vim motions extension in vs code and it is just a wonderful experience.

I have no idea how to select a URL only...

Or learn VIM :p and install the extensions everywhere,
