Another fun one: While you're spraying at the end of the round, shoot your friends in the legs. Weapon skills (minus mag drills and recoil control) are increased with each HIT; leg shots usually take the most rounds to kill, and TKs don't count during the "match won/lost" sequence. I levelled up my assault rifle skill today by shooting a buddy after a game lol

The problem I have with arena rn is the matchmaking not taking account what kits people are running so trying to go against a high tier kit with a low tier kit is a losing fight

It’s so if someone is running top tier kits then they should get higher elo and eventually be in higher arenas sucks rn but when it’s been out longer itl make more sense

Solved. Yesterday I played 4-5 matches in row with only starter and tier 2 presets (i was playing starter preset) at 2300 arp

I have almost 4k hours in eft (mostly idle) since I got the game in 2021, never heard of you but I enjoyed this video and have subbed. I'll go watch you on twitch too for support. This was very informative and I like how straight forward you are.

i loved the video great tips and deff gonna be trying it i only played one full wipe and didnt have the most fun so i stopped playing it but arenas has made me love the game ill prob stay on a arenas this wipe and just git gud at pvp and play next wipe and hopefully have a better experience

17:14 had me dying laughing. I’ve been saying “use your thinker man” for years and I’ve never heard anyone else say it. Great video these are the best tips I’ve seen for arena so far

the packet loss has been just destroying me lately, constantly getting 1-3% loss and it feels like 200 ping when it says i get 38.. Having to use the flechette shotguns with this lag is making it so damn hard to consistently kill people. and then you have kits like the altyn tanking 43 hitcount and then killing me lol

Dude I feel your pain playing from Hawaii is the exact same.

16:11 the reason people dont use cover to hold angles often is because of how bad it is compared to swinging wide for that peakers advantage. In csgo youre rewaded for holding angles, but i always feel disadvantaged for holding an angle in arena

I took the bolt action marksman route. The problem is evem maps like sawmill and bowl are still a bit too small for using a bolt action. The fact that the semi auto marksman class can engage at the same ramge but with follow up shots makes the bolt action presets completely inferior

Probably intended since bolt actions just are inferior. even if the maps were bigger, semi autos would still be better, bolties would just be not as bad

As a new player who has put very few hours in the main game and mains the scout side this is my input. Scout seems very balanced (especially as I solo queue and im currently using weaver) any class can kill you with any misplay or aim wiff on your part. My problem was before i got that kit id run into these CQB kits that I assume were tier 5+ and itd feel like my bullets were paintballs.

@TickleMePinkGaming I'd also say people bought accounts to go down scout for late game. I currently just got to Weaver. Where for the first time I feel like I have a gun advantage. First 3/4 kits are sub machine guns down this path. Now I only went down this path because of your videos, so I realize you know vastly more than me. But I'm telling you as a good Valorant player I didn't feel like I had a laser in my hand until I played with the Weaver. Again probably because others were several tier kits ahead of me. Now that I've grinded a t5 kit out it does appear I have a gun advantage

Get rid of rubles and preset in arena is the way to go imo, let everybody create his class and put a limit at the creation, maybe get rid of m61 m993 Altyn and rys t, the game will be way more enjoyable I think

I’m pretty sure you don’t get any xp after the round ends. Played a game where I looted 1 body after a round end and got 0 looting xp after the match. (Normally you can get around 200xp for just looking at a body) Though it could work for skills, but 100% don’t get any preset xp eidt: it works for skills, just leveled mag drills after a round end

Of all the mispronunciations of ‘Et Cetera’ I’ve heard, “Eggs Zedera” has to be one of the worst. Good vid tho

I mean, sure Arena need a lot to improve - but for me , i wont touch the maingame anymore. I mostly love just the gunplay in tarkov and was annoyed with the time with the survival elements in EFT. Of course this is just my personal opinion :)

Definitly yes. But due to the lack of time, i never could seriously hold on with others in the maingame. Every wipe i came back just because for the gunplay tarkov provides. And now with arena i can enjoy that gunplay in quick rounds :-)

Best tip? Don't bother with this pos game. Lag, unbalanced matchmaking, and some of the most smooth brained unfinished maps make this shit completely unplayable. Its bad when D4 is more enjoyable.
