Use #Streamdeck with Keynote & Keyboard Maestro to be more productive
I created a full set of Keyboard Maestro Macros that I use to trigger all of the menu commands in Keynote. I then assigned those commands to actions on my Stream deck... Then, of course, I created and icon pack for all of the Keynote Stream Deck actions.
In this video I show you how you can do it too!
Of course, if you don't want the hassle fo doing it yourself, then you can get the complete icon pack from my store for just $10. The download includes the 40 icons, plus multi page Stream deck profiles for both the regular and XL size Stream Deck and also the complete Keyboard Maestro Macro set.

Whilst I use Keyboard Maestro, you can equally just program shortcuts directly into your Stream Deck and add in the icons manually.

Glad it was helpful… Keyboard maestro can be overwhelming because it can just do so much! There is a temptation to want to use all of its features from the beginning, either that I’d be blinded by all of the possibilities. (I experienced both at different stages!) The trick is to understand it’s power and then just build up you macros slowly, as and when a need arrives… I’ve got a whole series of Keyboard Maestro videos planned that I’ll be making over the next couple of weeks. Hopefully they should help demystify it a little and give some other ideas from basic through to advanced. 😊

@@xtracredit I knew there were people like me out there! Get excited over a. New app- watch a. Couple of tutorials. That’s it! I’m in. Then I get the app, load it and life get’s in the way or the energy to get to app literacy is more than I want to devote to it at the moment-- I know I’ll do it ext month! Laughs-. Thanks for saying you bought an app and then never used it!!! Made me feel better!!! Ha!

Thanks Chris! Good to get back into them after a hectic couple of weeks with little time… I’ve got a bit of catching up to do now to get back on track with my 365 vids in a year challenge! You’ll be pleased to hear I’m finally going to get around to the rest of the keyboard maestro series I kept mentioning before! 😂

Hey hey I love your videos just got a steam deck and you’ve been super helpful Quick question I noticed that the legion plug in has a blank key with just their boarder. Is it possible to customize an icon from my library?
Question. Are the actions for the control when you go document then Audio and record. Then you have mouse controls to start recording mouse to pause and then mouse top right to end. Anyway to put those on stream deck? I did try to get the packs again and my card Will not work in your store.
