THE SUBSTRATE
Prepping the surface of the countertops is easy. Most surfaces just need to be sanded (80-100 Grit) then wiped clean. Granite and Marble will need the sealer removed. Tile will need the grout lines filled with Bondo and sanded smooth before applying our Countertop Kits.

EPOXY PRIMER COAT
Priming the Countertops is simple and fast. Mix your pre-measured primer then dip and roll the pigmented primer across the surface until the countertop surface is completely covered. Wait 1 hr. (or until tacky and not coming off to the touch) and start applying the Base Coat.
METALLIC EPOXY COAT
There are so many different applications for our metallic epoxy coat. In this video, we show you the dirty pour technique. When you place your order you'll receive step by step tutorial videos that will show you how to apply this part depending on the look you're going for!
HIGH WEAR TOP COAT
We offer 2 different Performance Engineered Top Coats. Glaze Coat is our High Build Top Coat that lays out like glass and adds depth to the Countertop. The Urethane Top Coat comes with the option to have a High Gloss or Matte finish. It needs to be rolled out super thin and leaves a minor texture on the countertop. You apply it within 24 hrs. of installing your Countertop Kit

Another great job
Superb👏
This is amazing. Do you go over it w heat to eliminate air bubbles?
C'est magnifique😍
Would you please do a Stone Kit # 17 in a gloss finish? Maybe with some of the diamonds in the spray to make the cells before the denatured alcohol to remove the bubbles? Thanks! That's the one I am considering for a new home build in the kitchen
Do you have a video showing how to measure properly for kitchen counters and island?
There’s no need to sand/scuff the surface? Also, is countertop epoxy different from floor epoxy?
Such an amazing product, I hope to use it in the near future!

I wish i would be able to buy your products....happy new year
Beautyfull
I’ve watched other epoxy countertop videos and they all used a torch or heat gun to get the bubbles out. I noticed that you guys didn’t do that in the video. Did you do that off-camera, or was it not necessary with the product that you used?
Mantap good
So how come everything you do has a nice flat 90 degree edge? What about some laminates that have the raised rounded edge? I'm assuming that has to be done by hand spreading?? Getting ready to do mine and your videos do help except for what I need.

I have never done this type of job before, but from watching other videos, it seems that you can’t really do it on a raised-edge counter. One video even said to sand the “hump” down to level.
Wower ! 👍

How would you do this on a floor? I just bought a kit for my living room but can’t find black base with grey and titanium veins
Badass!!! What does spraying the different types of alcohol on it do?
@LeggariProducts
2 жыл бұрын
Isopropyl alcohol 91% or higher is used for the dispersing effect to give you the cells and craters and then you finish with denatured alcohol to pop any bubbles!
perfect

Hi boss, you use alcohol for what?
I don't see any sanding being done. Does it stand up to use without sanding?
I want to try this but with a black and gold color scheme.
What can of alcohol you use

how would you get this design on to a 6 inch back splash ? im getting ready to do my counter tops and love this design but now worried about the back splash how will i pull that off
@LeggariProducts
Ай бұрын
There are a few different ways to do backsplash. Although it is possible, we don't recommend coating the backsplash while it is still on the wall. The design simply won't turn out great as good as it can be. It's best to remove the backsplash if possible then coat it horizontally and re-install it. Or, remove and install or more traditional one. Or coat right up to the backsplash, taping 1/8th inch up the backsplash. Lots of options! kzread.info/dash/bejne/gq11q62ul7fgYKg.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/nYl13MuOdsbNdpc.html

Our leggari stone kits go down at 8 oz. per sq ft.
Are these heat proof?
@evilblackcat6357
2 жыл бұрын
The layer itself is probably as heat resistant as the original surface. I've used epoxy on several well-used surfaces and they've lasted for years now with minimal scratches or damage. I didn't even use Leggari which appears to be a higher quality product.

How do you deal with bubbles?
@LeggariProducts
Жыл бұрын
The dispersing effect is achieved by spraying small to medium drops of 91% isopropyl alcohol, then finish with a fine mist of denatured alcohol (fuel) to pop any bubbles and allows the epoxy to lay out glass smooth!
Does it melt ?
@LeggariProducts

It’s rated at 150 degrees Fahrenheit with direct contact. We always recommend using coasters or hot pads when putting warm things on the counter.
