Switch royale seems really tough. I'd say try coming at the curb with more of an angle instead of straight at it, that might help. That approach works with a soul grind, but with a royale you want your shoulders and hips facing the obstacle, not the direction you're going (you can turn your head to face the direction you're going, just try to keep your shoulders parallel with it). But either way, switch royales are going to be difficult (I can't do them). New skates look great and it looks like y'all are both having a great time.

This really helps thanks! For regular royals my left ankle has just had so many injuries that’s it is just tricky to get it right with a flat setup so doing it switch isn’t painful but also harder to get the technique right.

i have the powerslide radon enzo urban skates. 90mm wheels. Pretty cheap and a skate i would stand behind for a good low cost urban set up. There black and white which is always fresh. Maybe give those a try.

Hey dude! Been enjoying watching your progress with aggressive skating. I can recommend the FR series of skates, many options starting from FRX to FR1 Deluxe Intuition in terms of low to high end. The Rollerblade Twister XTs are also a solid option. Can't go wrong with RB. Powerslide has some cool options like the Next and Zoom models. I've been looking at the Next Pro 80 myself. Hope this helps!

Sure thing! I think getting an FR shell with an Intuition liner is one of the best feelings of inline skating one can experience. For reference I have a 27.8 cm foot length and skate an FR US 9 shell with Medium Intuition V2 and US 9-9.5 Intuition Premiums. I have Superfeet Hockey Carbon/ Comfort insoles. The shell, liner, insole combo is incredible. That would also be the US 9.5-10 FR1 Deluxe Intuitions (27.5-28 cm). I figure I'd throw my sizing in there to see if that helps you also!

@@DailyDr3aming You're welcome! Oh and one more thing. The FR shells are dual sized so you'll want to know if you plan to use the thick stock liner or a thin liner like the Lomax Second Skins you just got or eventually try an Intuition. For instance, for me with a US 10-10.5 Second Skin or an Intuition Medium V2 (Premium US 9-9.5) I can fit in the US 8/9 (EU 41/42) FR shell perfectly however, if I use the stock liner I would need the US 10-10.5 (EU 43/44) shell and the liner would be a US 10 (27.5 cm). The FR1 Deluxe Intuition already downsizes the shell for you so my size US 9.5-10 would already come with the US 8/9 FR shell. Sorry if this is a huge sizing info dump but I know how important sizing for skates can be and how regrettable it is to get the wrong size.

@@Martz604 this is awesome thanks, I’m a size 13 but the aeon 11/12 fits me best. What size FR would be best in your opinion?
