@@lusca6177 It could also be due to your USB cord not being compatible with your PC. That's how I got mine to work.

if im right clicking in the device manager its just saying properties not the uninstall options help

Alongwith with everything else, its also making a sound. Secondly, device manager keeps blinking, showing all icons, then showing only "ASUS-PC". HELP PLEASE.

Can someone explain why my fully updated windows 10 laptop won't even output a notification of "usb not recognize" and not even recognized as a faulty device with exclamation mark and when I plug in my cousins windows 7 laptop it does output that "usb device not recognized" warning and at least is recognized as faulty device.

Every time an Update is done in Windows 7, USB devices do not work. Troubleshooting fixes this though, and that too after restarting. So time and energy loss. Any suggestions?

My usb ports work, but not my USB hub. I mean it gives power to the devices, but if I plug in my external ssd to it, windows does not recognize it. Or if I plug in mouse, keyboard or headphones none of them work via it. All of the devices work when plugged directly to the laptop, but there is not nearly enough ports for all of them. The usb hub is also pretty high end with lot of ports and external power source. Is there anything I can do? I really dont want to return it, because it would be such a hassle. Hope someone could help me.

@@MDTechVideos I think it used to recognize my ssd before. I have usb hub for my laptop, because the laptop doesnt have enough usb ports. The hub gives power, because if I plug usb fan to it, it can spin or if I put my keyboard in it, the lights will come up. But for example I can't type with my keyboard. Or if I plug my headphones to the hub, then my laptop won't recognize the headphones and I can't use it. Or if I plug my ssd into the hub, it wont show up. All of these things show up if I plug them directly into my laptop, but my laptop simply does not have enough usb ports.

Sometimes I wonder if people feel that way as well. Never had anybody identify me in public though from my voice (yet).

What if it's the mouse USB that fails? We can't point and click anything in that case. We'll need to 'point and click' with key commands which are not so popular these days :)

Actually you can just put the usb in the back of the cpu if your plugging an cellphone or a usb (not an usb mouse or keyboard)

If you tried everything to get your USB to work and it still doesn't work, it could be due to the USB cord not being compatible with your device.
