USAG Kwajalein Atoll - A Place Like No Other || Aerial Highlights
USAG-KA is located in the Marshall Islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. While being key for US national security, its remoteness and location allow for many unique times in your not-so-typical 9-5pm job. Please enjoy some of the memories that I have collected over the past couple years while living on this amazing two-mile-long piece of coral.
All drone shots of Kwaj were taken before the Army drone ban (pre-summer 2017).

These Kwaj vids are driving me nuts I so want to go back there and forget the rest of the world Sixty years ago it was my world
I may not have had the most adventurous life life but I am still working on it. But I did have Kwaj & the amazing people I met!
That place is so beautiful it's hard to believe a horrific and bloody battle was fought there almost a century ago.

Did you know Lee Marvin was in that battle, he was a marine scout
Kwaj was a fun time. 1979-80. Serious work and serious play. Seemed like half the people played in the softball leagues. Like small town living. Bring saltwater fishing gear with rental boats available.
Nice video. In the early 60's I lived the video! Kwaj is an awesome place the closest I will get to Paradise till I die!
I worked on Kwaj '94-'96. Worked hard and long hours but I had a great time and met some wonderful people, ex-pats and natives.
What a FANTASTIC video! Miss my time on Kwaj!
Awwww, such an excellent Atoll. Hopefully I get trained there.
Great stuff! Take as much as you can while you can!

I would really love to go there. So beautiful.
Beautiful
Lived here from 92-97 as a kid

Brought back memories of my Uncle Albert telling me that he had opened the seacocks on his Destroyer Ralph Talbot to sink it in this area. It was radioactive after having being used in post WWII atomic bomb tests.
Awesome video, bro! I'm trying to get a firefighting gig here!

I came to see where Wednesday Addams was born. It looks idyllic. Makes me want to visit. RIP Lisa Loring ❤
Yakwe! Stunningly produced video. In order to make a educational video for our school program, I would like to ask your permission to use some of your clips. I'll make sure to include you in the credits on your KZread website. 😁
I'm heading there in 4 weeks for six months to repave the runway. I'm so pumped. Edit this place is really just a rundown industrial park.

@@luisesparza1381 gotta be honest this place is terrible. I suppose if you're going to live in a dome house and have surfway access it wouldn't be so bad. The dfac food keeps making me sick. And the rooms in the man camp leak like crazy. This was one of the worst jobs I've ever had. Can't wait to get back home. I miss my wife and daughter. The water is nice though.

Hi, Do you have any more video of the surfing there?
@calcrappie8507

There is very little surfing. Maybe some at Roi Namur. Tiger sharks are on the oceanside and it's mostly rocky coral reefs. Great snorkeling though both oceanside and lagoon.
Love to use some of this footage in a crowdfunding campaign for an anit-nuke film. LMK. Great stuff!
Flacon 1 story brought me here.
Just applied for a Law Enforcement job out there. No kids, no wife or house to sell, let’s goooo! No, I didn’t get the job. 😢

A beautiful place. Sad that 1000s of people were executed and mistreated here in ww2
