When the youngest of my 2 kids, USMC Christopher, was growing up, he was fascinated with The Thunderbirds... we bought every book, every VCR tape (that was back in the horse and buggy stage in technology) they put out, we bought it. Christopher would read everything written regarding The Thunderbirds. It was a lot of fun times we had growing up together! Thank you all that are in every branch of our military, to protect us, uphold The Constitution, risking their lives to protect all of us. Deepest regards, appreciation, grateful that each person heard the calling, and took the Oath to Serve and Protect. 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸

4:50 the shift back to diamond is one of the fastest I've ever seen

1986 air show in Cleveland changed my life! I was 6! Thank you for this video. Wish I could have made this one. Saw the Navy this year in Smyrna TN though.

@@jamesburns2232 My Dad walked me through a C-5...I sat in something! Was a Phantom maybe?......Watched the show. We built a lot of balsa airplanes and rockets...lots of rockets! I joined the Army at 17...UH-60 Black hawk crew chief...OIF 2003 been working on airplanes all my life.

Cleveland's Burke Lakefront Air Port is an outstanding air show venue. I've been there several times, right along the taxiway. It was also great during the heyday of Indy Car racing. I really miss those events.

Never get bored watching these guys perform.. They are all very Amazing.. ❤️it!

Thunderbird 6 uses a little more afterburner during the performances, so has to land before 1-5 for fuel concerns.

Wow, that show line looks like it's just on the other side of the spectator fence! Is that really the case in Cleveland?

Part optical illusion and part reality. Cleveland is relatively close (especially the runway, which the Thunderbirds do not use unfortunately) but this year they did some of the aerobatic maneuvers a bit closer than standard so it was extra close and awesome
