@@rosepurpp_ you used to be able to play indoor soccer in fifa the game and now you cant. Makes me think that because fifa doesnt own indoor soccer they don't promote it
outstanding performance form both teams. I wish to see a world cup or copa America related to this format of soccer indoor. it will be great.

Se juega totalmente distinto, investiga sobre Falcao el es el Ronaldinho del futsal intentó jugar fútbol y no dió el ancho.

@@Alvinobeat27 totalmente de acuerdo. El fútbol 11 es más de resistencia y físico que esté fut 5. Ese factor cambia mucho el estilo de juego entre los dos.

I love this sport of indoor or arena soccer. It trims all the fat of regular outdoor soccer with non stop action, less dead time, and more high scoring. It should be much more popular in North America if it was marketed and advertised better.

Indoor soccer needs more promotions
Por un tiempo fue popular el fútbol rápido en México y teníamos muy buena liga profesional y canchas públicas en los deportivos. Espero vuelva el apoyo de las autoridades al fútbol rápido (indor) que después derivó en fut 7, etc. Buen partido de estos representantes de ⚽️ México y EEUU ⚽️

This is mainly played on the east coast during the winter season. There are outdoor leaguers but it’s so harsh playing in 30 degree weather. Players much rather play indoor in fields like this or in futsal leagues. It’s great for staying in shape as well.

I use to go to Chicgao Stadium in the early 80s with my dad to watch the Chicago sting play. Crazy he would take me. Lol. It was a blast.

as an American i like this a lot more. seems liked it would be really fun to go to a game and watch live
you could see a bit more of the hockey technique in the US, Mexico looked to have better passing on the break.

This reminds me of my childhood... growing up in NYC shit is wild brick in the winter...indoor leagues are where your touch got dirty... could be hard on me when I played goalie since we often played on basketball courts

Fortunately NYC has slowly been progressing with a bunch of indoor turf fields now as well!

this format is so more more fluid, engrossing, and exciting than futsal, because the ball is constantly going out of play in futsal. i love that futsal has the prestige of FIFA and major powers like Argentina and Brazil playing, but this "indoor soccer" format is so much more exciting. I wonder why they don't adopt it.

Most likely because the sport has boards. FIFA probably hates boards in soccer so I guess that’s why. But the boards are one of the best parts of indoor soccer because the ball is constantly in play.

They use size 4, same as futsal ball CMIIW The thing with both futsal & indoor are, we can't let our marks free or left an open space even for a fraction of a second.. To me, it feels more tiring than football..
What a game, as an Englishman I’m neutral. It could of been anyones game. Thought Mexico was gonna run away with it at the start but I was wrong 😅

@@padraigmurphy3540 I think it's a mixture of both. Some of the finishes from Mexico were pretty quick thinking. Like the flick of the ball into a volley was quick thinking. I do agree that the American keeper could work on his reflexes and positioning especially on distance shots.

No offsides. And they are purpose built fields. Not reused hockey. But similar wall layout. Newer ones have good turf.

futsal has no boards/walls to keep the ball in play. different ball size and weight (futsal ball is heavier and smaller), futsal 5 a side indoor soccer is 6 a side. in indoor subs are made on the fly.
a lot better than outdoor soccer

I’m glad I made the switch honestly. Don’t get me wrong, I love outdoor, but indoor is so much more fun. Win lose, doesn’t matter, as long as I get my hat trick I feel I done my part :)

A lot smaller goals and pitch (obviously) so you get more goals but the QUALITY of the goals are less. Not to mention theres deflections. Its a give and take

In Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay, it is very present, Especially in the beginnings in children's soccer, it's cultural basically, was created in Uruguay btw 🇦🇷👋
I don't understand why indoor soccer can't be huge in North America, its fast paced game without "boring" bits of outdoor. You market it correctly, add time outs/OT and put on commercials every 2 minutes and you have a game perfect for the American market haha.
all those 11 pm practices after the pizza shops close, are paying off

It's the other way around man, USA has some of the best players in teams all over Europe, can't say the same for Mexico. They have a few spread thin through Europe but nothing special.
