And now she has retired! I was hoping she would make it to Japan Olympics but I guess not, she had a great year in Brazil though playing for Praia Clube with Brayelin Martinez from DR. 😢❤️🏐

@@ggzuSadly she retired before her dream at playing at the Olympics was fulfilled 😢. She got benched in 2012 for Haneef-Park & in 2016 for Courtney Thompson...Ugh-sigh 😩😩.

I hope Akinradewo will return to the National Team in Tokyo Games... There is no Good Middle Blocker in the US national team.. and also nicole Fawcett is better to have spot in the national team the switching player in Opposite position of Adrea Drews... And hopefully Banwarth comeback she is good Libero too

balong conad Drews Is a good lefty And has had a great run in Japan she was the MVP but it’s just the coach he just doesn’t use his players right doesn’t give them enough time in the court to show their skill! And for Banwarth she was one of the best liberos of her time but I doubt she’ll be back! she’s now 31 and looks a little bit out of shape and she’s also the head coach of the University of Mississippi! All the hope is on Hill And with Larson who I feel like she’s been with the team since the beginning of time! 😂 she’s good but she just has had way too much time on the court taking time from other players that are way better than her! And Hill Is an outstanding player and it’s another one that has been benched for many times too! I hope she does this time.

Compare the HIGH JUMPS between the 2 teams, Chinese does better. American team needs to know how to improve the jumps. How? Special design weights attaching to ankles while practicing high jumps daily. When a player remove the weights, she will feel, she can fly. Just wonder any volleyball coach knows this technique?

That’s true but I believe they got bronze and China won gold at the end and then they won the Olympics Rio 2016! And the USA got bronze! Now in the 2019 VNL the USA won gold and China bronze but It may be because China didn’t send their main stars not for the whole tournament anyways! 2019 World Cup China 🥇 again! The USA 🥈 again! China will never show their full potential at the beginning of a tournament they will always look weak like they’re not ready to play And that’s thanks to Coach Lang Ping. Who will always change the players at the end! She usually plays like a chess ♟ game, she moves the players around and see what works best removing certain players out the game and putting new ones. She was the coach of the USA not too long ago taking them to two Olympic silver medals!

well yea, this competition has been and still is round robin, every team plays all other teams, there are no eliminations, best team overall wins gold. china only lost to the us, while the us lost to Russia and serbia therefore clearly putting china ahead. Serbia also only had lost one game but they lost more sets overall than china thereby making china, serbia, usa the gold, silver and bronze teams.
