USA vs Canada is not a fair comparison because its like comparing oranges to apples. But if we really want to compare we have to be unbiased which is not the case in this video Lets start it: Income: Yes its true minimum wage is less in USA but that doesn’t mean people get paid by minimum wage only. There are hourly jobs in US where you make good money. Professional Job salary: There is no comparison as you get paid by average 50% more in US. If you are making $100K in Canada same job can get you around $150k in US. Employment: In US after graduation you will most likely end up working as professional as the job sector is humongous spread across varieties of fields. In Canada getting a professional job after graduation is tough thus many students end up working as Truck drivers or other non professional jobs. Weather: US has all kind of weather. From warm and humid Florida to Mediterranean California to Hot dessert Texas to Rainy Seattle to Cold and icy Chicago to Tropical Hawaii. In Canada the only difference between places is more Snow vs Less Snow Lifestyle: US has so many amazing cities with unique culture and lifestyle. From New york to LA, San Francisco to Dallas, Chicago to San Diego, Miami to Seattle, Atlanta to Las Vegas, Houston to San Jose, Boston to Denver , Salt lake city to Honolulu etc etc vs 5 cities in Canada( Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa) Crime and Racism is everywhere just few months a Indian student was killer in Toronto sub way station. Also so many Indian students end up with suicide in Canada because of failed dreams and depression. Last so many Indians move to Canada as a plan B because its hard to make it straight to US and they plan to work in US after getting citizenship on TN visa. US is $25 Trillion economy in PPP nominal vs 2.2 Trillion of Canada. Hell California alone has GDP around 3.5 Trillion dollars.

Bhai, I am also 100% agree with you but aap ye batao USA green card deta hai kya..Waiting since ages and still no sign of green card. Lots of uncertainties, layoffs and after layoffs, only 60days to find new job or else pack your bags and go to India..Issey accha toh canada hai, bechara PR deta hai or upar se peace of mind even though you make less. So I am moving to canada from USA.

Native Canadians also want to come to the US. The fact is the whole world wants to come to the US but the main issue is US lot stricter immigration laws compared to Canada.

Canadians are gatekeeping like crazy. Canada is difficult kyunki wo PR dete hai, PR sabse important cheez hoti hai. US me PR ko Green Card bolte hai. H1B aur student visa toh mil jata hai US mai par wo slavery jaise conditions banate hai US me 1) US me tum MS karke 60k kharch karoge toh bhi ewo tumko visa nahi denge, chain se jeene/kamane nahi denge 2) US me agar tumhara job jaata hai toh tumhare pass sirf 60 days hote hai naya job dhundne ke liye 3) Ye 60 days ka chutyap 100 saalo tak chalega kyunki yahan pe India ka visa green card aur h1b lottery hota hai

Good comparison of 2 countries, Just more clarification on this. Why people choose Canada over US? - It is easier to get Canadian PR/Visa because of Canada immigration laws. Canada has population of ~38 million and second largest country in world by area. More than 70% of Canada population lives within 30-40 miles of US border because living conditions are not suitable up north. Considering this, they need more people in the country and at the same time Canada has loosened immigration laws. - US immigration path to PR is tough for Indian born nationals coming to US for study and work, but not for rest of the world. Any other country national except India can get PR in US within 3-4 years after study. This is the reason you see mostly Indians moving to Canada. - Violence is one of the reasona as well. Canada is much more peaceful than United states. United states population is 340 million and there is a big lobby to keep right to own firearms that makes harder for politicians to change law. Why people choose US over Canada? - High paying technical jobs. I would say US pays more than any country if you have technical skills. - Job market. Majority of world's technology companies are based in US. - Affordability. Houses, Grocery, Rent, cars and even domestic and international flights are cheaper here. It is affordable to live in US if you get decent salary. - Best Universities, Hospitals are in US ( it's already covered in the video) - Weather - There are many more reasons depending on the profession and lifestyle you want to live. I think if anyone has an option to move to US with easy path to PR, majority will choose US despite of other challenges mentioned above. Thank you !

Absolutely Right. Some many things he mentioned is not so accurate, it was just based on word of mouth. Im an American citizen with Indian origin living in NY. What he mentioned about NY sounds like everyone living in NY is in just Manhattan. NY is a very big state and even if he is talking about NYC people are living in decent sized houses/ apartments apart from manhattan.

Plus one more thing: If your parents want to come to live with you in old age , you can call them on pr. In us , if you'll not be a citizen or whatever it is , you can't call your parents permanently ( as far as I know. Let me know if I'm wrong). I'm not saying whether your parents would like to come abroad or not- that's a completely different question. But they atleast have the option to come there.

  • @bauabh

It will take more than 20 years to obtain green card in the USA if one starts as a student. So, it’s difficult to plan for marriage, expand family size, purchasing a house etc. I have personally seen people in USA not being able to travel outside for a long period of time until getting green card. Because some people travelled outside USA could not return.

I moved to USA from canada..why should you choose usa over Canada Usa is much better than Canada Even minimum Income is 2x more than Canada Easy to find job Cheap houses and rent No extreme winters You can visit approx 160 Countries only with usa visa. Family can easily move here. Drugs r legal in Canada now. And so on.... Again it's all depend upon personal preference..but do check the facts properly.. God bless you all...

Guys after spending 50-60 lakh in US and if you dont get job in this recession time or if you lose job , we have to return to India without earning or they should enter and work in Canada instead🤣. I know many of them returning to India without job, without earning anything with only Debt. But in Canada you can do part time job and earn money and atleast you can clear your debt and return with your qualification or you will also earn a full time job if you have great skills. SO GUYS THINK WISELY BEfORE CHOOSING.
