Both team's handoffs could have been better, but the USA's first two legs were the difference. SAFP made up only a marginal difference on Prandini. @akataman7319 Black Americans are not African. 99% Have Iriah Scottish and Welsh surnames in both Jamaica and The USA. Black Americans came here after rebellions in 1632 1715 1745. They replaced the original Black Irish Scots and Welsh and killed 300 thosand and sent the rest to America and the Carribean which is why they have those surnames as well. When we were in Britain Africa was Libya. The population there now shows you there was a population switch and now their white.
Sherika Jackson was closing in seriously. Great race.

Yeah. If she had a few more feet to run, it would have been a done deal. That girl was coming!!! Glad we made it! Whew!
Jefferson-Steiner-Prandini-Terry. Every leg, every handoff had to be PERFECT to beat the amazingly talented Jamaican team by 0.07 seconds. Well done USA ladies!! One of the most exciting races EVER!!! A thing of beauty!!

Both team's handoffs could have been better, but the USA's first two legs were the difference. SAFP made up only a marginal difference on Prandini. Meanwhile, Jamaica was foolish for not running the correct order. It should've been SAFP, SJ, EHT, MM. This will be debated for years, but JAM should've won this race.

I agree with you. The race belongs to Jamaica that day but the placing of the runners costs Jamaica the race. The US are confident and ready, and so they pushed to the end.
