Yes, very true.. mohajir ki koi ant nahin! I am also a Canadian immigrant and my father was an Indian immigrant in Pakistani! When I was moving to Canada he told me that the first generation that immigrates pays the price of being a lost identity.. and the second generation reaps the benefits.. he was sad that whatever he had sowed as an immigrant himself.. I will not be staying in Pakistan to reap those benefits! He warned me we will face the same when we raise our kids in Canada.. but he never stopped me from leaving! Now 22 years later.. I am well settled here but am often reminded of the truth in his words.. even after so many years .. I still feel like a lost souls sometimes- caught zbetween 2 worlds! My kids though identify as true Canadians! 😳 @zakir bhai.. please do address this in your commentary as well!
