USA Men’s Volleyball Team and Setter Warm Up
Спорт
This is a video of the USA Men’s Volleyball Team warming up for a training in Cuneo, Italy. In this video the team is warming up for training and the setters (Micah Christenson and Josh Tuaniga) are doing individual work to warm up their setting!
This is raw footage of the warm up without editing. I hope you enjoy and don’t forget to like, comment, and ask questions if you have them! Yay volleyball!

As a setter this was so cool to watch because it's such a clear view of the technique!
I'm impressed with Josh Tuaniga technique and style. I knew he just existed in Plus Liga bottom feeder Slepsk Suwalki and rarely saw him playing, but in group stage of VNL vs Poland he lead the game very well. His plays with middle blockers and pipe were very smooth. I look forward to see him playing in Olsztyn this season and him having better opportunity to show his skills.

His technique has stood apart since he was 14. He’s really a master of the craft
Love watching Micah and Josh set! Big fan of both of them. Really nice guys and amazing setters! ♥️

Great content. Would love to see how the other positions warm up. Like the program we see the others doing throughout the video.
It's great to see my idol Micah cristenson practice now I can practice like his practice so one day I can be a great setter like him.. thank you Erik for uploading this video.. you are the best 👍👍👍 can't wait for WC..
Thanks for the video. I'm surprised coach Speraw is doing the warm up exercises with the players. Respect!!
as always, thank you for the content!!! good luck for wch, you got this
The importance of soft hands, even when the setter is on the run, falling backwards, or flying through the air can never be overstated. I say this as the volleyball analogue to Roberto Duran in his early days (as perhaps the best boxer ever in the lightweight division)-manos de piedra, or “hands of stone.”
Micah sets are so beautiful to the outside 😍
Great stuff! They make the technique look way easy
2:39 Gah dayum
Legendary. Thank you!
Here we go USA 🇺🇸 send 💟 from Thailand ~~~
Setter work hard💪🏻🔥
Amazing! Thank you very much!
So wholesome to see coach Sparow take active part in the training
The little twerk took me out! 😭😂 Awesome video! Go USA 🇺🇸 ❤🤍💙

I find this quite soothing to watch before going into a match
its so smoothhhhh and precise...
Love the videos❤️❤️
Ccchheeee-Hhhuuuuu…lovin them Poly-808 gamers…mahalo for the great video.
Erik do this viewpoint for hitting lines to really grasp the power coming at the defender 👍 once again great insights 🙏
Love it
Erik good job, please more videos about setter :)
Thanks for the video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So smooth....
Erik, thanks for the content! It's really unique to see all the POVs from different players on the pitch. Btw, where is Kawika? Will he be joining the team for the world championship?
Let's go USA 🇺🇸💪
Can you show us the hitters stretching routine before games?
its so interesting to see how differently the ball flies for each setter :o I never noticed a difference in a way I was able to /notice/ before this video, where they alternate directly! And the difference is difficult to unpick without higher level vball knowledge (why do the balls look like they're leaving Josh's hands at a faster speed even though the overall speeds look the same? I have absolutely no clue!!) but it's really cool to see even without understanding it! :D
Hi Erik! Can you do a vid about the best volleyball shoes? Or does that impact any sponsorship contract you have?
Christenson and De Falco😍😍😍
thank you erik
I need more of these Videos "
Watching Micah makes me want to be a setter.
2:40 LMAOOOO
Hey where can I watch the recent games against japan and italy?
Wow...
Awesome to see! Great for technique study. It's just annoying how easy these guys make it look...
2:39 It’s brilliant)
2:01 we get some exclusive content on the right 😂
Goodluck team USA 🇺🇸. Specially DiMarco.
id like to see a pov video of something like this
What's the name of the black that Christenson has on his left leg? Because he wants to buy it too
What do I do if the ball comes around chest high on a receive/dig. I never know what to do so best I do is puff my chest and it usually just drops dead.

You can set it and just pop it up really high into the air for the setter to get under it. (That's what I was taught but there might be other things you can do)

Hello, Erik, Me as a non-professional volleyball player at school, could you give me some advice, maybe for my serve skills. I am not taller enough ( i am 5'3 161cm), but um Does my height affect my serve skills?
@ajgarrido1228
Жыл бұрын
It usually doesn’t, you should still be serving fine unless it’s a jump serve. But even then it would probably benefit you. Since your 6’3 your a little bit on the taller side so your still contacting the ball down which is really beneficial. You should be fine, hope this helps
