He would have lost the evangelical vote. But with Merchan ‘s case it should this was an election interference that cost Hillary the election. All was fully adjudicated with full information that his lawyers had jury selection, knew the charges, and found verdict of guilty. And the jurors were typically skeptical New Yorkers. Need a new leg to stand in?

Our Constitution defines and ensures our Civil Rights. Constitutionalists focus on our rights as citizens-all of us, regardless of education, wealth, sex, ability, color, or religion, including anyone living and working in our land and under our same sky. Democrats and Republicans are the names of oppositional parties. Better defined as liberals & conservatives-it confuses some. Liberals place more emphasis on our rights in a democracy. We, the people, decide, not political party representatives. They work for all of us; they sometimes forget that. Constantly needing to campaign-not for issues-but for money greatly favors the wealthy. Conservatives tend to interpret the Constitution in a wealth & patriarchal order. "Traditional" men mostly, are the decision-makers for the people.

You're both wrong. The United States hasn't been a Republic since 1789 because of our second Constitution which is currently law. The United States is currently a Representative Democracy. Meaning the people elect whomever they want to represent their ideas and concerns ( THE PEOPLE/CITIZENS already have full power). A Republic, however, does do the same thing EXCEPT it doesn't allow a Monarch or a Dictator to control the peoples' decisions or this country. The Articles of Confederation was our first Constitution AND it was written by the Confederacy Party of the South when we were a Republic and it was put into place in 1777. It was no longer considered law of the land because of its lack of inclusion of all people residing in this country as Citizens (including Natives, enslaved, or formerly enslaved people)...which is what the Civil War was all about while uniting all the states through the act of Inclusion. If one wants Trump or anyone else to control everything and have exclusive Executive power, that person would have to declare themselves as a Dictator. And we have never been under a Dictatorship, nor have we ever allowed one to happen in his country.
