    Yeah, I work at a really busy Subway and Italian Herbs and Cheese is like, half of our bread bake every day. You can also get large wraps in white, the pepper schnitzel she listed is only for some states (SA had BBQ Pork Belly and I think there was a third one, maybe beef brisket?), the quesadilla was made wrong (it has mozzarella cheese, southwest sauce, onions, capiscum and, if you like, jalapenos), the classic and schnitzel taste different (one is seasoned flour, the other is plain bread crumbs), old people and tradies eat the seafood, and there are other catering options than the one she listed (a favourites style - both that and the classic style come in wraps as well - and you can get a gluten free platter). Also, with the drinks, the franchisee selects them (with guidelines) and there is a limit to how many kinds of drinks you can have in your fridge (so can't stock them all). That's why there are variations in things like the coke or iced tea flavours. Also, South Australia sells Farmers Union Iced Coffee instead of Dare. Also, some stores have the post-mix drinks and some don't. Mine doesn't, but they are commonly available. Bleurgh, I feel like I'm defending Subway here, but there was just so much random non- or mis-information. Anecdotally, I assume it's because she's in Sydney? All the workers that come here from there (all different stores and owners) are really under trained and might as well be brand new haha

    Bye the way. We do indeed have Italian Herb & Cheese Bread at Subway in Australia. I don't know what Subway she went to. I live in Tasmania and we do have it in Subway. It is my favorite out of the different Subway breads. My favorite sub is the Meatball Melt... I also like the Seafood Sensation. Don't hate me in that one, we have our own different tastes.

If I'm not alone in my opinion: the people looking at analytics will probably think "oh it's two women in the video it's misogynists and/or Joe fanatics. “ Britt has become my new favourite FW host, she encapsulates the modern Aussie pretty perfectly. But that same order at a private store is $19 and a smaller bottled drink. In Tas is was $15 and a smaller bottle. Qld had pineapple as an option.

    Buffalo chicken sauce is basically hot sauce mixed with butter, maybe a little salt and pepper. Ranch is buttermilk and onion dressing.

    As a non-American, I wonder if the main reason ranch never takes off outside of the US is the name. Like, what does "ranch" even mean? Basically every takeaway in the UK does a "garlic mayo dip", which is honestly just ranch, under a more discriptive name.

  • @TheOriginalArchie

    @TheOriginalArchie

    2 ай бұрын

    I'm curious, does garlic mayo dip actually taste like "ranch" dressing, or is it different? Maybe you have never had ranch, I'm unsure obviously I live in the states and I despise ranch for the most part (other than maybe a salad dressing, which is what it was made for). I'm biased because I grew up in New York and we like bleu cheese, although I know a lot of people that love ranch. Btw, it's only called "ranch" because the creator was a plumber that bought a ranch and made called the dressing ranch. 😁

    Surely Americans know what bitters is? It’s used in a lot of classic cocktails like an old fashioned. Also Bitters is actually highly alcoholic at nearly 50% alcohol but the amount used in the drink lemon lime and bitters is such a small amount that the drink is considered non-alcoholic and can be served to a minor

    so true. so much of this food doesn’t even seem to qualify as food. Too many people have seriously low expectations for what food should be

    maybe he's just not into doing the same franchises repeatedly. I know they use many veggies in sandwiches which he doesn't like anyway.

    Blimpie is better than subways. So sad they're not around anymore. Only 1 or 2. Blimpie burger was the best.❤

    I don't think it has crab at all, its probably "imitation crab" which I believe is Pollock. the Seafood sensation used to be called the "Seafood and crab" many years ago, so draw your own conclusion. Man, I miss that sub. Can't get it in the UK.

    Me in the 90's Subway is the best fast food chain.they have the highest quality ingredients. Also me today Subway is total trash, you can get a better sub sandwich literally any other sandwich place.

    None of the Subways near me make the Series sandwiches as listed on the menu. They still ask how you want to customize like they always have. And I don’t think I’ve gotten double cheese as some say they come with. My go-tos are the Meatball Marinara or the Italian BMT. Most of the time I go there planning to get something else, I end up leaving with a footlong meatball, though. :-)

    That life time supply by changing your name to subway made me sad, because all I can think of is people with food insecurity who are like, "a sandwich can be decently healthy and you can get lots of toppings and customize it a lot, I have no problem changing my name." Like, that's a guarantee that you'll survive. Last but not least, it's a PR stunt and a partial lie. They will cover up to 750 dollars in name changing fees to reimburse and a gift card equivalent to 50,000 dollars at subway If you got one meal a day, drink, sub and chips, it lasts only 13 years. Lifetime is straight up false advertising. It should be 60 minimum if you got one sub a day. They could have controlled it by like having that person refill the card each month so they don't use a lot of it up to get like 100 subs and give them for free and cut the amount it would stretch down. 13 years is cheap.
