I just got my visa B2 approved 🎉 it took only 2 minutes and consular asked me 5 questions mostly related to my work, reason why I want to visit and if I know someone in usa. My advice: be confident and don’t make lots of documents ready as there is no reason for. I wish everyone good luck with their visas ❤

Will that count in the interview? It's my first time and I am already nervous that I might be rejected. I hope you reply soon and thank you so much. Asked why I'm going to the US, my job, and my family, then asked why I'm travelling alone when I have my family with me in the UK, which I answered and gave my reasons. @chaiandcoaching

@@jojzsiako3483 that would be nice, but it would take more time and then people would want to debate/argue. VO’s have lots of interviews to get through every day It’s your job to convince them, not their job to tell why you don’t get approved. At least that is how it works.

Oh MY God! You guys! It's just a judgement call and next time it can be a yes.... But what makes you all think that there will be a next time for the person applying for the visa? 😂 This is unbelievable. In some countries the cost of US visa is as much as a month's salary! And the prior expenses that the applicant has already made (say a tourist or a clerkship candidate who has already paid the programme fees that's non-refundable). Why is it left upto the "judgement" call? And what else could convince an officer if not the proper documents and proof of admission/tickets/receipts/financial statements and assets? Am I the only one with such concerns?
@chaiandcoaching
4 ай бұрын
What concerns exactly?
I got a 3 year ban after overstaying by 182 days during lockdown. I couldn’t get on my flight because of positive covid test, all the European countries started going into lockdowns and no direct flights (could only transit in these countries) sent my anxiety through the roof! Never overstayed a visa before. Am I eligible to have my ban forgiven? I’d like to vacation in the states! My ties aren’t so strong but if I intended to stay there, I wouldn’t have left!

Is it a good option to introduce yourself and let VO know why you're there and which college you're going to as soon as pass them your Passport and I20 and even before VO ask any question

Hi! We are a homeschooling family and my kids have qualified for a prestigious GLOBAL STEAM competition in America, we have invites as well. All of my husbands family , parents and siblings are Blue passport holders for almost 2 decades. but we decidedly never planned to move to USA. But we would like to have a visit visa to be part of family vacations and occasions now and then. Do you think this would be a plus for our application or a nay?!

Just make sure the purpose of your travel lines up with the visa you are applying for. Family in US can be tricky, need to know how to explain it clearly

This is making a lot of sense. I was denied and I suspect I was too brief and not articulate enough. I made all honest presentation. Can I apply again?

Sorry to hear that. Yes you can always reapply but will need a better strategy

Watching from Liberia. I recently got my I-20 and I’m planning for my interview cause I got denied twice in 2015 during Ebola cause I was going on a visiting visa.

Good luck! Watch our visa interview playlist for more tips. Also, you can also take the free visa interview checkup quiz to see how you score and how the visa officer will likely respond: bit.ly/3zLHUHZ
