I have been wondering if the ACV will fit inside of a Freedom class LCS boat bay?

I love all the footage. Now just picture with artillery exploding all around :)

I want to see tires hold up against reefs or difficult landing operations. There is a reason amphibious assault stayed tracked for so many years. The AAVSU or the EFV is still a better viable option.

Didn’t the Marine Corps or DoD do away with the EFV program several years ago? It seems as if they decided to bring the program back. This new vehicle seems to be wheeled instead of tracked like the EFV.

I was stationed on 2 Gators; USS Whidbey Island LSD 41 1993-96 and USS Wasp LHD 1 2000-03. I had the opportunity to ride on an LCAC in 2002 while returning from my final deployment...

Not an improvement as far as water and land speed. Only more anti mine or red protection is good. The recent cancelled AAAV was a huge improvement that they dropped and all they had to do is over come some mechanical issues that always happen with ne vehicles. Its speed was over 20 knots in the water.
