I can't imagine being in that situation and not preparing, even if the chance was remote. If something were to occur she most definitely not be living her best life, and in reality, a fair chance to be raped and killed. Our modern belief that just because the Western world has been fairly war-free for the last several decades or so that that will just continue ad infinitum is so misguided for so many people. I hope nothing happens.

I did hear your troops are actively under fire in trench style warfare. Saw the Russian snipers taking shots at your troops and also dropping mortars. Let me get it straight to the point. I don’t like neither Russia nor US and its allies but I have to be fair here. Russia has the right to defend themselves as well as Ukraine. Imagine somebody is standing in front of your apartment’s door and spying on you and your family. Would you feel comfortable? Of course, the answer would be negative. Hence, it’s quite explainable why Russia is disturbed by the actions of NATO. On the other hand, Ukraine has the right to choose their allies on their own and nobody can order them who to choose. Is war going to happen? I don’t think so. Well, at least I hope it doesn’t. Bcuz nobody needs this war except for NATO. The more they move towards Russia the better it is for them. They know the taste of controlling someone. As for Russia and its President, he is no way better than NATO leaders. Also murdered a lot of people for no reason. All of them have their “hands in blood”. Something tells me that such dramas will never end unless and until the world ends. Anyways, we as ordinary people don’t have to fall for their tricks. Let’s be friendly and respectful to one another.

What people outside Ukraine and in North America fail to realize is, these people have been living like this for over a decade now so to hear this build and "escalation" to them it's just another threat, just another day. Nothing special. Okay I do understand I was generalizing a bit here, sorry. No I am not racist, I live in North America lol. Reason why I said North America is because many in North America can't even point out on a map where Ukraine even is. Until now people have never even turned an eye to eastern Europe or the conflict between Russia and Ukraine since Crimea in 2014. Also you get journalism like this 2:28 where you can clearly see the note on the door. Then at 4:00. They have been trying diplomacy for a while now, what diplomacy came after Crimea? Yes an invasion seems more real this time. But our news seems to not exactly report both sides of the story, even less so accurately at times. I don't entirely blame the people for not being informed when the media only reports on what gives them clicks and views. Meanwhile the school system dose not do history justice one bit.

Also let's not forget that Russia has been the victim of sanctions for years and it's becoming out of hand. The fact that Russia made such "outlandish" demands was because of the insane western pressure that has been applied to then. Russian economy isn't bad fully because of the cold war but because of economic sanctions. The role of United Nations is corupt and biased. When USA invaded Iraq in 2003 United Nations said no meaning they had no valid excuse for an invasion. Despite this they invaded and USA suffered from zero sanctions while Iraq did even though there were no chemical weapons found. The only reason America invaded Iraq is to install a puppet government like Russia is trying with Ukraine. However when Russia puts troops within their border it's a problem and a "global threat" but when America does drills in Poland and Estonia is ok

It’s scarier living in the states. Gun nuts, no universal health care…

Both Russia and Ukraine take it as a normal situation. Both countries have been through same scenarios for ages. Always with outside interference, Napoleon, Germany and now America. Always an outside aggressor. In one hundred years they will still be neighbors sharing a border.
