I was a patrol boat officer and we had the mark IV Patrolling off the coast of Iran back in the late 80s 2000 hp three diesels per boat 25 mm chain guns forward and a 20 mm on the side mount 60mm mortar 4-50cal machine guns 65ft long

Much smoother than the grandfather, PT boats much quieter and faster or should I say swift. Nice boat.
The navy needs to mount a punt gun (large gauge shot gun) that can take out a drone.

This is no patrol boat. This is a barrel of pork. For the price you get a boat that runs security, makes boardings and searches, can deliver divers or small equipment to the water line. The old Cyclone that towed it is a far more capable vessel with room to grow.

Why safe boat have to get towed?
Nice boat but I’m confused as to it’s use. The boarder leaks like a sive, drugs come into this country without pause and god knows how many terrorist sleeper cells are just waiting to move. Can someone please tell me exactly who we’re pointing the business end of this boat at?

It's a component of US capitalism & commerce funded by US taxpayers other than DJT, and some others (pretty much everything in this presentation is a component)... if a international buyer is not currently considered a significant US threat it's, almost certainly, for sale (the US is a weapons manufacturer and arms dealer - currently the best I'd say)... there's likely a steep discount if another country, successfully playing Washington DC, can make use of it against enemies of Washington DC. (?)

American fast patrol boats used in the Second World War were copies of the British patrol boats.
35 kts huh......I wonder how fast it can really go. Aircraft carriers can exceed 35 kts.

If it does not have dual 50Cal chain guns, Javalin, Kamikaze Switchblade 600 drones, and arm with MK42 or MK48 Torpedoes and could run faster than 50+ knots then it is not a "feared patrol boat".

"Most Feart Patrol Boat* lol, that's an inside joke right? The PT 109, 305, 658 are ten times this garage, tin can, AKA Devil Boats, AKA, Devils of the Pacific, dual MKIII 553mm torpedos, dual .50cal gun mounts, 3 supercharged marine engines with a top speed of 52 knots, the Mark 6 barely does 40 knots, not torpedos, you have to hand launch the sea scanner. Sweden's Visby, R-142 missile boat are 10x's better, capable of doing everything the Mark 6 does, faster and engaging ships twice their size, Awe that little cutsie 25mm bushmaster wouldn't even scratch the perspex windows of the Chinese equivalent. Back to the drawing board, dumb boat.

Training, is what you are complaining about. Towing another vessel is part of the Training. Guess you have never been stationed on Patrol boat or a Ship or towed another vessel before.
These boats are poorly designed especially in the offensive armaments! Where's the radar directed mini Phoenix gatling gun for the stern or bow automatic Canon! Where are the admidship 7.62 twin mini guns! These boats are not combat ready to take on the Chinese PLO navy! Feel sorry for the crew if they ever do!
