I've been in a relationship for 6 years with my boyfriend, who is in the Navy. I heard about the Jody phenomenon a couple years ago and was disgusted. Yeah, it's hard to be away from someone that you (supposedly) love for months, but the answer to loneliness isn't to cheat. You have to be strong for the one you love and not be a shitbag behind their back. It goes to show how little these pieces of human trash are worth when they can't keep their damn legs closed for a few months, weeks, days, or even hours. That second clip always makes me howl laughing because I know the full context. Despite what we might assume, the husband is actually a veteran who was no longer in the military. The wife and the other dude were still Active Duty. That means they've both committed adultery and are both subject to the UCMJ. That means they're both probably on their way out and will likely suffer less than honorable discharges. That is why this man is so calm, why he didn't strike the other dude or anything like that, because he knew this video was going to utterly destroy both of them.

My thoughts on the second video as a military service member, as somebody who's in the military, this is my thoughts. You guys heard the man being cheated on (MH for Military Husband) calling the other guy 'Jodi'. It's a term for that stereotypical guy (or girl) who'll steal your significant other while you're away at training, overseas, etc. The reason why MH was asking for name and rank was probably that they were on a military post which meant only DoD workers (including service members) or approved civilian workers are allowed on the post, the vast majority of them being, of course, service members. To answer your question about legal trouble, service members are held to a separate series of laws while on a post called the Uniform Code of Military Justice or UCMJ. (It still applies while of post but they must follow both UCMJ and state and local laws too.) According to the UCMJ in Article 134, cheating on a spouse (or as it's legally called adultery) is "conduct which is of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces." The keywords of that phrase are "bring discredit upon the armed forces." First, you have to have some kind of proof of sexual acts, which if the original video did pick up, would be pretty good proof, but that key phrase is more important. Prosecutors have to first prove it made the armed forces look bad, but that's pretty hard to do so it'll be hard to prove in court.

An interesting story: I had a gf for 3 years and she would always call me when she was at her worst and she would ask me for advise and I would do my best to help her. I did my best to support her at any time( like starting a fundraising campaign for her sick father) and overall, we had a great time until I went to my country to visit my family. Part 1: I just got out of a relationship this year, and idk if this counts as cheating, but in my personal experience with this, I felt like it was. So a few months back, I've been with this girl for over a year (almost 2) and during this time, I've been having trouble with trust because of a previous relationship before her. Basically I was cheated on twice. Anyways, the first time I felt cheated on with my most recent ex, is when she brought over HER ex to MY house. I found out from my stepdad because he said he heard talking outside and went to check who it was. After he saw them, she panicked while picking up my dogs and rushed in the house. I broke up with her the next day when I saw her chat, which only had 1 message in it, which was a location of where we lived (mind you, I was sleeping during the time it was happening. The next day, after I found the message, I went out to take my mind off of things. I then came back to her awake, and she asked where I was going. I told her I was going out with some friends. She asked if I wanted her to go with, and I said "Why don't you ask your ex boyfriend.". She started crying and I told her to pack her things and ask someone to take you home. She went home, and me being the dumbass that I am, I wanted to give her another chance, so I took her back.

Part 2: A few months after the incident, I looked passed it and tried to build our trust again. Things went pretty well. Her sister recently broke up with her ex at this time and found a new boyfriend a few months later. We got to spend more time w/ her sister and her new partner, and found them to be great company. But then shit started going down again. My ex hung out with them while I was working, and I was happy she got to go out and experience the social life. She'd hangout with them everyday and would video chat with me while I was on break. She then introduced me to her sister's partner's little brother, who was around her age. I didn't mind this at the time, but there was a voice in my head telling me not to trust her and the brother of her sister's partner. I didn't pay attention to it though, because I thought I was just overthinking shit. 2 weeks later, I went on her phone while she was asleep, because my phone died, and I needed to take a shot, and I wanted to watch some videos😂but I wanted to make sure she wasn't doing it again, so my paranoia got the best of me. I found out she was messaging him every minute of every hour for the past 2 weeks. Their conversation would go on longer than any conversation we've ever had. I didn't know how that was even porrible because they've only known each other for a few days within 2 weeks, and she's messaging him about her "crazy" sex stories with her ex. I woke her up and confronted her about it, and she got mad and vented to that guy... She was the most disrespectful girl I've ever been with, because at least with my previous relationship before her, she told me she cheated on me instead of hiding it, and that's why I didn't hold a grudge against her for it. P.s. Sorry if this was long asf. I just needed some place to relieve left over stress. I hope you read this, and keep up the good work, my guy!

This isn’t a story about someone cheating on me, but someone trying to cheat on their boyfriend with me. So this happened in 7th grade while we were still in middle school. This girl was dating a guy because a lot of people were starting to date people. The guy was my best friend and still is my best friend even in high school. Just that morning they were so I’m not going to get with my friends girlfriend the same day they break up. I said no and then she walked away mad. My friend came back and I didn’t say anything of what happened Bc I didn’t want to upset him. Later in gym she comes up to him and asks to play basketball with us. It was a free day so we could whatever we want and me and Isaac are playing with other people who can kinda play. I scoffed and said no but isaac said yeah. We both looked at each other confused then she had the audacity to say “that’s why I love you (my friends name). Bc you don’t care if your friends don’t like me.” Here’s where I said everything that happened. She denied it all and my friend got mad but didn’t break up with her. This happened so many times beyond that point where she tried to get with me then pretended that it never happened. Finally they broke up and she will ask me out and I always say no. I still don’t have a girlfriend but I’m fine with being single then date someone like that. Sorry for the story being so long

I think the guy just found it so stupid it went beyond sadness.

Really hurt people actually smile when sad or angry. Smiling gives you strength when dealing with shitty situation and prevents emotions from exploding freely. This is the best way dealing with people because if you cry you will be seen as weak and will be used against you, if you express anger you will be labeled as impulsive. Its rather easy to smile at the situation and make people either confused or better make them loose their control on their emotions instead of loosing yours so that you can use it against them.

He's smiling for a lot of reasons, one of them that you missed, is sarcastically. Smiling and laughing doesn't only mean that they are happy, it can also be a coping mechanism.

Was dating a girl a bit ago, in high school. I genuinely cared for her and wanted to be with her for the rest of my life. A while into our relationship I got a message from some random kid in the grade below me saying that "I shouldn't be flirting with her". I was obviously confused by that so I told him I was dating her. Suddenly he was confused because he thought she was dating him. Which she was. While she was still dating me. We had a discussion before confronting her about it. That whole thing is why I have really bad trust issues.

I feel like the smiling is like when you laugh when you’re nervous. You’re laughing because you’re uncomfortable and laughing is a way to relief stress. He’s smiling to get himself through a RIDICULOUSLY bad situation because BRUH. Cheating RIGHT NEXT TO HIM?? I’d laugh while my heart was breaking at the absolute audacity.

1st part. "fuck it, i'm done" level. that point where you're currently numb so you just think "screw it, things are done. im out" so you just smile while you wait for it to kick in or you already had suspicions and you're just happy to avoid finding out later.

My ex cheated on me shortly after getting his first job, I noticed him changing and not wanting to see me as much. I believe karma got him though, and I now feel nothing but disgust for him. Seriously, there's actually no point in cheating and it's an unnecessary/despicable thing to do.

But I know it would be soul crushing to have a person you chose to be with and trusted break that trust and commit and action so vile. My ex was cruel too. She was having an affair with some dude at work and when I found out and confronted her, she just blamed me for not noticing it earlier. According to her, It was my responsibility to keep her from drifting away to other guys. Man I gave up everything for this girl. I even cut ties with my sister and parents because they were bad mouthing her. I didn't listen to my best friends when they said she was an opportunistic and manipulative control freak. Maybe I shouldn't have shown blind loyalty and dedication. I guess It was my fault I was left all alone in the end.

@@thedude7134 its normal for you to feel that way. but loving someone selflessly isn't a sin. you were doing what's one of the most important thing in relationships, which is to be vulnerable, to be open, with your partner when it comes to making meaningful connections. imo, you're not at fault for loving your ex SO. when it comes to love, it should be selfless. obviously, your ex destroyed your trust. its her fault for not reciprocating the degree of love you gave to her or at least be honest enough to address that she can't do a committed relationship. i hope that after you're fully healed, you wont be afraid tp open your heart to someone and love that right person selflessly. well whatever works for you.

My first boyfriend cheated on me several times but I always give him chances because in my stupid mind I thought he still loved me. He didn’t but after 7 times him and I getting back together I set my foot down and didn’t take him back. Him and I were together for 9 months. I was heartbroken and I was in the deep end for a while until I met someone. I’m now happy and with someone who actually cares about me. So gg EDIT: This was a online relationship on Amino I lived in a different state where he lived in. We both were in middle schoolers at that time frame. No I’m not lying believe what you want to believe. I don’t believe all guys are trash I believe everyone has flaws and if anything I think girls are more prone on cheating on guys. Also I note that previous relationship a learning experience. Not a regret. Like I said previously I’m now happy with someone who really cares about me and wouldn’t do anything to hurt me. I know there’s girls on the internet saying “ALL MEN/BOYS ARE TRASH!!!”. When actuality that’s stupid to say. Cheating isn’t cool if you don’t wanna be with someone just say it. Don’t cheat on them. It really hurts and does a number on their mental health.

And 2 weeks later became chill asf with Bianca because she actually apologized and was whole hearted, and was NOT one of the ones to start the rumor, and to this day me and Bianca are close friends while my ex is still talking smack about both of us because she got played in the end.
