US Fears Israel-Hezbollah War At "Little Notice", Moves Forces Closer To Lebanon With Eye On Iran
The Pentagon is moving military assets closer to Israel and Lebanon to be ready to evacuate citizens in the event of a war, NBC News reported. The report said the USS Wasp amphibious assault ship and the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit moved into the Mediterranean on June 26.
They will join the USS Oak Hill dock landing ship and another ship to be ready for a military-assisted departure and other missions. The Wasp will operate in the eastern Mediterranean to be ready for a Military Assisted Departure and other missions, said US officials familiar with the plans.
Asked whether the US is taking more precautions in the region, a White House official said Washington is watching the situation “very closely.”

Buffer zones utilizing another's land to do so is legally occupied territory. All International law states that security buffer zones are to utilize builders land. No fly zones really fall under the same, but it is a weasel-term as no "land" is occupied, only skies and it is enforces through the US "rules-based" approach to co-opting the security council through proposal, veto and military control... A "buffer zone" in this case is just occupied territory that is reserved for military action and kept unusable for residents in the name of the same. Might as well just call it a "trench".

Article 1701 of the UN chartes states which was agreed upon by both nations that from the border both would jeep a buffer - an unoccupied zone- of 20 km. This buffer zone was occupied by Lebanon . Israel wants to implement 1701 article which obviously Lebanon has besieged. This is what Israel says of pushing Hezbollah away 20 km. Is it so hard to understand.
Who is preventing the ceasefire? Who wants to continue the war? Hence who should the US put pressure on to end the turmoil? The answer is obvious to the world. Israel must accept the ceasefire, and remove it's troops from the occupied lands.
