A fun note to tack on: The most feasible way to destroy America would be through destabilizing the US's alliances and creating a stronger alliance network in it's place. Basically, isolation. Currently, BRICS is an example of an "opposing" alliance, however, it's very weak compared to the alliances the US maintains. However, in the next few decades, if the US starts to economically stagnate, it gives opportunities for an alliance like BRICS to reform into a better "investment" for other developing countries. China's Belt and Road initiative was actually quite effective in luring more African countries to vote with China at the UN for example. Further, if the US makes a large geopolitical mistake, such as invading a country like Mexico in the future, or decides to economically "bully" the EU through making poor trade deals, and so on, these things will slowly isolate the US on the world stage. It won't completely "destroy" America, but it would definitely topple the country's ability to be the "premiere world superpower".

Their primary advantage is Geography. Most of US biggest enemies nowadays only lays in Asia. It would take alot of effort to move alot of men and equipments into US homeland. US usually making battlefield onto somewhere else, and leaves their citizen, industry undisturbed. "Big Cheat" After 20th century, Their military always going on war. But their mainland never experience, see and feels the destruction of war anymore.

The reason is because no one invades them directly because of them having a powerful military. However, two things are clear. Even in the modern age, invading and totally conquering a land far-enough is almost impossible, as seen in Vietnam and Afghanistan. And secondly, with ICBM technology and advanced aircraft and navy for example, your fact held true in the past definitely but no more in the present world.

Others have achieved the same and certain others have even improved on that basic model (Singapore) by tweaking it. All nations definitely don't have ICBM funding or technology (that is a good thing) but a number of them do have so again, this is not exclusive.

America? The most powerful empire? Sure america has the best military technology at the moment but that hardly plays a factor of how powerful they actually are politically. If we were to take various empires of the past and give them modern technology it would quickly become clear that america is in fact not the most powerful empire in history as other empires had much more influence over world affairs, both directly and indirectly.

An interesting video about broadly ignored mechanisms. Still, I do not consider overseas military bases in cooperative host countries to constitute evidence of empire. "An empire is a political unit made up of several territories and peoples, "usually created by conquest, and divided between a dominant center and subordinate peripheries". The center of the empire (sometimes referred to as the metropole) exercises political control over the peripheries. Within an empire, different populations have different sets of rights and are governed differently." America's envious foes want us (particularly the indoctrinated "weakists" who are part of the divisive plot) to believe that America is an evil empire, but it does not fit the above definition.

The US easily fits the common google definition of empire - "An extensive group of states or countries ruled over by a single monarch, an oligarchy, or a sovereign state". Military bases kept in a web of installed governments and subservient economies has nothing to do with cooperative host countries. Everything from the global south's lack of worker's rights for US corporations to exploit to inability to run their politics without grim interference points towards those living in the US having very different rights to those in the periphery of the empire. Us elite rules over the world thanks to the economic and military power. other countries' elites aren't ruling the world because at the end of the day it's the us elite that makes the most money. also other nations don't even come close in terms of influence and power. However western europe (top european countries) are very powerful economically and exercise their power maybe even as much as the us elites but only economically and in the shadows. For all we know the world might still be ruled from London or Rome (british and roman empire refference) but it's very unlikely. Although there is no centralised powerstructure there are groups of people in the world that exercise more power than any average individual could imagine. So it's either us elites (most likely), european elites (2nd likely), or a combination of the two (3rd likely), or global elites united (least likely; because the elite capitalist class is not united and we've seen that in ww1/2 and other wars, they fight for capital and themselves).

The US barely got out of Afganistan and it needed the support of dozens of other nations so I doubt they would be able to fight a nation that is on its level of weaponry or a little weaker. The Afghans didn't have much arms and they survived for 20 years on their own. The US uses progamming to make people believe the lies they preach. The US needs foriegn support in order to not suffer heavy casualties or lose in the case of vietnam, korea and afghanistan. Iraq lost because they didn't put up much of a fight.

The US fought a war in Afghanistan for 20 years and it cost it $2 trillion, and that was with a weak war-torn nation that was in a state of civil war. Manpower also matters. The US has the strongest Navy but hasn't been in a serious naval war since WW2. To keep a military well armed, fed and high morale requires a lot of money and resources, something that the military no very well so thats why they never engage a strong nation. The Korean war proved this as the Chinese, despite having a weaker military, fought the US to a stalemate at which point the US general thought about using nukes.
