Electronic jamming is an old Soviet area of expertise. Whilst the west focused on offensive missile systems, the Soviets became the only experts in defencive equipment, like jamming, Airforce airdefences and fighter jets with extraordinary speeds and defensive missiles and radars. Today, the Russian Federation has taken all these Soviet weapons and advanced them even further. Whilst the west still depends on old offensive weapons, without any substantial improvements.

How do you think our Navy and Airforce can operate and control anywhere in the world? How exactly do you think Ukraine has been able to repel and now old the Russian invasion against insane odds? There is a reason that Russia has lost ten times the military equipment compared to Ukraine. There is a reason Russia doesn’t have air superiority, why they are turning to Soviet era bombs and strapping wings to them, throwing every munition they can find or buy from Iran or NK while making minimal progress. That layer is about to get a hefty injection with the addition of a newer missile defense system, f-16s and numerous more Patriot systems.

One potential reason for the underperformance of Western weapons in Ukraine is that the country has not received the latest and most advanced military equipment. Instead, Ukraine has been supplied with older versions of these weapons systems, which often lack critical upgrades and enhancements. For example, while Ukraine may have received tanks such as the Abrams, these are not the latest models with the most up-to-date technology and capabilities. This discrepancy in equipment quality can significantly impact the effectiveness of their military operations and overall defense strategy.
