I migrated as a child permanent resident , my grandmother was born in america so thru her we migrated ,i was 10 yrs old. By age 19 a dmv employee sold copies of my license to 3 illegal aliens they got into accidents which resulted in my license being suspended. I had warrants everywhere and was arrested several times. By age 21 one of these impostors committed crimes and was arrested and convicted , went before a immigration judge twice as me and was deported as me. Its been years and ive had to provide fot my 2 American sons without credit, welfare or a green card. I didnt ask to come here. I hate what they've done to me and how neglectful this country is.

In the middle of my US Military career one of my soldiers told me of his efforts and obstacles to enlist. He was born to two American citizens stationed in Europe with the US Air Force in an Air Force Hospital. His recruiter insisted he show his Green Card or Naturalization Papers, of which he had neither. It took his parents writing their Congressman to get it straightened out to allow the young American Citizen to enlist in the US Armed Forces.

I am a natural born citizen of the U.S.A. and have had problems with my citizenship. In the early seventies I was in the military and they wanted to make me a fighter pilot. When they started to do a background investigation for a top secrete security clearence they stoped because I couldn't prove to them I was a citizen. In ninety one I lost my social security card. When I went to get a replacement they told me I was an alien. I asked them what country I was a citizen of and they didn't know. I brought in all my paperwork and straightened it out. After 911 happened I called the Social Security office to see what they said about my citizenship. This time I was an alien student restricted. That meant I was in this country to go to school and could only have a job on campus. I told them that I hadn't been to school in over thirty years and I had my own business. I brought all my paperwork in again and straightened it out again. I call the Social Security office a couple of times a year just to check, so far so good. I do know this though, if i weren't white I would have been deported.

I just got denied a green card yesterday turning my life upside down in the worst of times. 1) we had a solid case & they still asked for information ALREADY sent half a year later! 2) The letter asking for I formation also wanted us to send USCI $1,000 fee for something that didn’t apply to me AT ALL. And to top it off they end it with “should we decide you don’t apply for this penalty, they money will not be refunded” WHAT!?!? 3) we had to reply explaining my case all over and that we didn’t have to send that penalty fee because it doesn’t apply to my case 4) They did not follow protocol of sending a work permit while they decide on the case. So, 10 months after not working I’m in HUGE debt. I used all my credit for food and paying my car and getting my younger brother through Senior year. 5) Now that I’m denied, they get to keep the money from the forms that weren’t even clearly read. I get it, a quick way to save up for the wall perhaps. I’m now in complete financial ruin as well as depressed, it has been the roughest year I’ve ever lived through. Amongst other things related to me waiting on immigration. Absolutely awful. They completely ruined my family. My husband is also destroyed, he been trying so hard for us and it breaks me that all I can do is watch. I wish other honest applicants good luck.

One of the advantages of being a veteran is your fingerprints are on file with the federal government. I also have prints on file from my top secret security clearance investigation, as a volunteer with the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles, with my employment with various government agencies over the years. I insist on affixing my thumb print to important documents such as loan applications and even credit card applications. No thumb print then it wasn't me. I don't mind taking responsibility for my actions and it would be nearly impossible to steal my ID. I feel for this guy. Amanecer 777 to apply or renew a passport does not require a Social Security number. That’s two different federal administration agencies (department of state- immigration and renewed and the social security department is its own department) don’t use the same information nor share information with one another. It’s more like the State department is over worked and needs a get their shit together.

Pause at 0:22 and you'll see the letter is not addressed to him directly. Instead of freaking out and causing drama, realize that it's not addressed to him. That usually means that it was most likely put into the same envelope as his passport BY ACCIDENT. In that case you ignore it. As for CBSDFW, that was terrible reporting because it lead to believe everything people said in the comment section. It causes unnecessary anxiety and hatred towards the government. Clerical errors like this one happen in large organizations, including the government 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ Next time mention that it wasn't specifically addressed to him so that people can come to proper conclusions and not BS conclusions based on lack of vital information.

That being said, this is actually a 'non-issue' for the Person involved here. He still got his Citizenship and he already got his Passport. Only on how he got his Passport puzzled him and he's affraid that the system might incorrectly identified him as a Foreign Born instead of being born inside the USA; that could lead to possible future problems. Remember, the Department of State only asked him to return his non-existing Permanent Resident Card. All he really need is for the Department of State to declare he does NOT need to return his Permanent Resident Card, because he never got one or even need one. He also might need the Department of State to declare that he was born in the USA, therefore not needing any Permanent Resident Card. Now on how this issue could arise, maybe be on how the previous Passport applications were handled, possible being 2006~2007, or 1996~1997, or even 1986~1987, but not really 1976~1977 because the immigration laws back then were quite different. Either that, there is a glitch in the printing system that caused the system to think he has a Permanent Resident Card. The printing system doesn't need to know that all of the stuff it printed conflicted with the data in the system. All it needs to know is that, 'print this, and this, and this'. Now on why the office didn't just say it was a printing error, well… Remember, even all of the offices involved said that it's impossible for them to help him, because they do NOT have the data that said he has a Permanent Resident Card. So who said he has a Permanent Resident Card? Easy, the letter did.

I not only believe him but have seen this happen in many forms! A friend born in New York with a African mother and Irish Caucasian father appears Hispanic! We live in California and this is the early 90s! She was walking minding her own business when Border A**hole and asked her was she a citizen and even after stating yes born in New York they still tried to deport her! We got a call from her crying begging us to get there fast! Her husband got there just as they were supposed to be sending her to Mexico! Since she looks Hispanic she has been subjected to so many prejudices and stereotypes! She married a Caucasian man and their children looked Caucasian but when she would be doing her daily errands with them in the stroller countless times people asked to hire her to watch their children along hers because they assumed her to be the nanny! She would go to nursery school to get her oldest and it never failed that new staff refused to give her her son! They immediately tried to direct her to any child of Hispanic origins! She was even told repeatedly that inspire of being a citizen she needed to carry her immigration documents to be able to conduct business from enrolling her kids in school, trying to rent an apartment, getting WIC and these micro aggressions aren’t just a one off! Sadly the political environment is so xenophobic that now I am scared for her living in California fearing next time Immigration will deport her overseas before anyone can help her!

You think you own your car well stop paying monthly statements and see what will happen. Or be behind a couple of parking tickets and see what will happen. You think you own your house you must be kidding, them miss a couple of months of mortgage and see what will happen. Try to be behind of not paying your taxes oh yah baby. You don’t even own your driver license after 12 points or if you didn’t pay your spending tickets. That right you don’t own your citizenship even though you’re born here. I feel sorry for this guy abd for the Floridian guy who served this country and they denied him for his citizenship and his pension after he turned 65 years old and he been paying taxes all his life

In spain you got your finger prints taken and saved in a database linked to an id number. You get a birth certificate when you are born or even as a foreigner when you get Spanish citizenship (the place of birth { the country you were born is shown in that Spanish document though } ) So either way by birth or by naturalization you get both birth certificate and id card number. You are obliged by law to carry your ID with you out of your house ( even if you are just taking out the rubbish round the corner ) You can't id yourself with your driving license. So the amount of checks and controls are to the extend that something like being an alien is next to impossible 😂 I thought it was bad but after watching this video I'm now convinced that the Spanish way of registering people are actually not bad at all 😊
