I don't think most of the people laughing about the ambulances are getting the big picture. If the US started actively arming Armenia and becoming a major ally, that would immediately alienate Iran and give us three closed borders with only Georgia in the north, and the current government of that country is very pro Russia despite the will of the people. even NATO understands the situation we are in and despite his incompetence, so does the PM. this is why India is increasingly becoming our primary provider of weapons, because it is a neutral country and neither the west nor Iran have a problem with this arrangement. I think South Korea could also be a good source of high-quality weaponry, and again neither Iran or the west have beef with South Korea, despite Iran having close ties to North Korea. Trust me I would love to see the US send us some top shelf weaponry, but that would involve alienating yet another country in the region. Right now we cannot afford to alienate Iran. and if the US put boots on the ground, it would definitely spook Iran and perhaps accelerate conflict with NATO. people have to understand the nuances of the situation in the region.

Armenian needs more than armored ambulances! There are hundreds of thousands of tax payers of Armenian decent in the US, yet the US sends chump change of foreign aid to Armenia, compared to the Billions Ukraine, Turkey, Pakistan receive annually!

it will take some time for us to upgrade in strategic importance to the US. Our shift in that direction has only begun in earnest this past year or so. In the meantime, aside from India and France, South Korea is also another good source of weapons. And their troops have been trained to NATO standards. So we could probably hire them for training as well.

Ukraine is killing its people by 100s of thousands, in exchange for the financial support. Are you interested in such an exchange? As far as Israel is concerned, no one knows why US government gives so much money to Israel, it is an unpopular measure among Americans.
