US Air Force Claims None can Build Fighter Jet Like This

Ғылым және технология

The race for 6th-generation fighter dominance goes beyond technological advancements. With AI-powered weaponry, unmatched data processing capabilities, and the strategic integration of drone companions, this battle is redefining aerial supremacy. Combat strategies are evolving rapidly, and we're about to uncover every detail in this video.
A standout feature of our exploration is the "Next Generation Air Dominance Fighter (NGAD)" program by the United States Air Force. This ambitious endeavor aims not just to replace the F-22 Raptor, but to establish an entity that truly rules the skies. Prepare to be amazed by innovative technologies such as advanced combined-cycle afterburning turbofan engines and AI-controlled drones that are shaping the next era of aerial warfare.
But the competition isn't limited to the United States and its rivals. China is making its own entries, such as the J-20 Mighty Dragon and the Shenyang FC-31 Gyrfalcon, both equipped with cutting-edge stealth capabilities and technology. Additionally, Russia is in the running with the Sukhoi Su-57 Felon, a fighter promising unmatched maneuverability and firepower.

    The F35 can also launch missiles from warehouse planes and from Patriot SAM systems on the ground. This keeps the ground systems from having to use their fire control radar and give up their position

    F-35 is an absolute beast in terms of capability. It makes me wonder what NGAD really can bring to the table, apart from high altitude & supercruise for better BVR kinetic performance of missiles. And the FA-XX clearly just trying to address extreme range needs.

    Well, that’s really it tho. The range for the navy is important. , despite all the abilities the f 35 brings it does not the requirements for fleet . Air defense.

  • @kathrynck

    @kathrynck

    @@scoshyg5133 F-35 has plenty of range for fleet air defense. But the navy would like enough range to perform strikes (without IFR) which can reach further than the shore-based anti-ship missiles in China. I would argue that the F-35 _does_ have enough range for that... but it would put the fleet in a pretty tight corridor in terms of range, which makes the carriers easier to find & target. Making a whole new plane to address this is... somewhat questionable. Since it wouldn't take all that much for China to deploy still longer ranged shore-based missiles. That's a fairly straightforward upgrade path for them. Still, more range = a bigger ocean in which the carrier fleet can cat & mouse. I'm gonna assume that a big part of fleet defense vs. China will be an ASAT capability.

    This Israelis actually added more fuel tanks to the F-35 recently so it can make it all the way to Iran and back. I just read this look it up so they have already modified the F-35 to go longer ranges longer ranges. I'm pretty sure the United States government was part of that upgrade and if not they knew about it

My honest assessment is most likely a bit of both, with 75% driven by greed with 25% tactically driven. I mean, think about it..... there is a reason we never shared technology or sold the F-22 to anyone, but have partnered and sold almost every other technology. I expect the US will always keep an ace or two up its sleeve in case shit really goes bad.

    In more context, China and most other countries have barely started producing Fifth Gen fighters, of various levels of efficacy, at that. In the case of China, they can't even put their J-20 fifth gen fighters on their own pretty much non existent aircraft carriers, because they are too big and heavy. The J-20 also completely undoes it's own stealth profile anytime it needs to go into combat, because it has an external rotating missile readying system and outward opening bay doors that makes it ping like a nuclear bomb on radars. Similarly, we had a hypersonic missile program as early at 2007, we just shut it down because of the same factors that lead to not being legitimately concerned about China and Russias claims towards hypersonic weapons. If we have one quantum computer working, it can calculate and have an intercept solution for a hypersonic missile, before it leaves it's home airspace. Everyone is behind, by a lot. Don't let the propaganda fool you, even when our military leaders intentionally use playing down or up a piece of information, for their own intelligence purposes.

    ACTUALLY…(yep. I’m that guy), the United States designed, developed, and fielded a hypersonic anti-ballistic missile system over 55 years ago. “Nike Sprint”. From ignition it took the Sprint a whole FIVE SECONDS to reach Mach 10. That is not a typo. The United States nailed hypersonics to the wall over half a century ago. The real difficulty is managing heat and being able to properly guide anything moving that fast - It becomes enveloped in a cloud of plasma that impedes radio communication and guidance. The leaps in materials and guidance in the last 50 years has made the capability far more likely to actually be utilized. Speed? Been there, done that, walked away because the real sorcery is seen in the degree of precision the US is capable of now. Almost all of the benefits of that much speed can be (and has been) super ceded with RIDICULOUSLY precise conventional weapons.

    Luckily the Chinese J-20 barely qualifies as a 5th gen fighter. Its canards take any stealth characteristics it could have had and trades them for high maneuverability; it doesn't even hit the level of super-maneuverability, like the Sukhoi Su-57 does. Chinese hypersonic missiles are more of a threat right now.

    The F-35 are great with the whole team. The AWACS, drones, the faux jet or missile projectors to the enemy radar... But if i guess if it came down to a dogfight, if such a thing still exists, I’d rather see an F-22 in the skies. Too bad those two birds can’t speak to one another without an interpreter... I get it, Air Force wants their stuff on entirely closed systems, but not being able to communicate with our other things? Strange.

    My friend dogfights do exist and the f22 is isolated the reason is not politics its because there are many ways to target aircraft way more than radar cross section. All electronic transmission, active radar, even rf can paint a descent picture of whats flying around your airspace.

    Nja an NG double A one is for the Air Force One is for the Navy and they're supposed to be really different from each other in speed and capacity the air force model is supposed to have features that the Navy doesn't have and vice versa because you're landing on a carrier they have to make it a little slower then the Air Force version which has an entire Runway so it weighs them down tell me different things about both even though they will look similar thank you for your post you didn't even mention the next Hypersonic aircraft there's four in development the predecessor to the Blackbird three other projects are all competing for the same role the company that no one knows of it's supposed to be in the lead anyway again thank you for the Post

    The SU 57 is SO "stealthy" that no one has seen them in the Ukrain war! But with only about 5 operational planes they pose no problem. The Chinese J20 "stealth" plane is likely more stealthy than the SU 57 but it is nowhere near as stealthy as even the F-35. So the US NGAD Air Force and Navy fighters will likely share engines, avionics, ready and "low observable" coatings. The Navy needs this coating to be salt water resistant and tough as hell.
