    I lived in China 6 years and have been to Urumuqi 3 times. This is the best video that I have seen from an individual to date. Great job and thanks. I hope to see more from you.

    Great video dude, you caught a lot of the atmosphere of Urumqi. It looks a lot colder then when I was there in November :) Uyghur people are lovely and I hope I get to go back sometime.

    Great video! It's like experiencing the bittersweet radiance and contentment of a glorious sunset. Han Chinese modernity engulfing the fading shimmer of a Uyghur world. Let's just hope it happens without a Wounded Knee.

    these are areas south of Nan Men - around Er Dao Qiao neighborhood and behind Yan An Gong Yuan

    I know this might be a stupid question :P but do they speak mandarin? Or are they're language closer to the Turks?

    some speak both, some speak Uyghur only. depands on what kind of education they had.
