Huge miss for Uruguay...Irreplaceable

In Uruguay we accept our defeat with FairPlay and without excuses because France deserves our recognizion because the players and the supporters were all great and respected us like real gentlemen... As an example to understand what I'm saying look how different the french people beheivoured with us than for example Colombians when they defeated us in WC2014: Booing our Anthem from the start(we are only 3millions so we are used to be minority in the Stadiums) Shouting all the time: "Ole Afuera de la Copa(Out of the Cup)"...and not saying a word about the fact that Suarez wasn't playing that match against them... The french on the other hand listened in silence both Anthems and clapped them,in the Goal they shouted: "Allez Le France"(always in favour of their team...never against the opponent or happy for the tragedy of others)...Griezman did not even shout his goal in respect to Muslera's mistake...and after the match the coach and players mentioned that Uruguay had their respect and that it has to be said that Cavani wasn't in the game(that of course it's not an excuse,maybe France would've beaten us anyway,maybe not...but it's fair to say that it would had been a different and Harder match for them,so it's a fairly recognition)...and Finally after the match ended we saw some french players conforteing JoseMa Gimenez(he was crying because he saw it comeing the end before,...the French Team played so well that after going 2goals behind there was no way to revert the score with the time left...but even in tears he kept playing and fighting like a warrior to the end so we are proud of him too, don't worry for him or the kid in the grades who is learning that sometimes you loose...that's how life is)👏To All France you deserve it and won this WC from begining to end... Congratulations from Uruguay(at least we'd lost only against the Best) BE PROUD CHAMPIONS

Although Uruguay was exceptionally well in midfield and defence...they weren’t as effective in attacking. I thought they would come up with a strategy for Cavani’s absence yet they couldn’t. They relied highly on set pieces and couldn’t convert their chances to goals.. And I won’t blame Mulsera for anything..mistakes happen, he has been great the whole tournament, 1 bad mistake wouldn’t change that (likewise to Kahn in 2002). The better team won but had Cavani played, things might’ve been different..

Gracias. La verdad fue un partido muy intenso, la ausencia de Cavani se notó mucho, además Muslera estuvo muy mal está semana. Tuvo dos pérdidas de sus familiares. Así que es entendible que esté desconcentrado y triste, pero ta hicieron lo que pudieron. Le ganamos a Rusia y a Portugal.. es difícil llegar hasta 4tos de final con países muy complejos. Por eso por un lado los entiendo.. y por otro los admiro por que pase lo que pase, siempre juegan y ponen lo que pueden. El año que viene esta la Copa América! C'est dingue, apparemment sur le premier but, Griezmann a dit après le match que Varanne lui avait vraiment demandé de faire cette espèce de feinte de centre tir, de s'arrêter, puis de lui mettre la balle au point de penalty. Si c'est réellement le cas (et pourquoi ça ne le serait pas ?) on comprend mieux à quelle point cette équipe de France a maitrisé son sujet durant cette coupe du monde. Attendre l'adversaire, puis le crucifier lorsqu'on le décide sur une ou deux actions, c'est quand même le contrôle du jeu ultime dans le sport. En boxe, l'équipe de france 2018 aurait été Pernell Whitaker, le boxeur qui rendait fou ses adversaires avec sa défense impassable (Même les monstres Chavez et le De la Hoya n'ont pas réussi à la percer) et qui touchait lui par des petits coups, rarement donnés, mais qui faisaient mouche presque à chaque fois. Un type de boxe détestée par le grand public mais vénéré par les puristes...

Uruguay lost in '10 and '14 when they were twice done out of Suárez and now when they lost Cavani. Uruguay will only be champions again when they have both Cavani and Suárez on the pitch at the same time, and that's unlikely to happen in '22.

Mbappe just fall on the field and start acting like Neymar when there was absolutely no need bc it was the end of the game and France was winning 2-0 already. That was dishonest and I repeat, completely unnecessary at that point, he deserved that yellow card.
