I’m just so amazed at the quality of the clean you can provide customers! If only I could get my hands on all the same stuff lol not that I’d do it any justice in comparison, this is a trade and a skill for a reason and thank goodness for the work you do because it saves ppl a lot of money if having to replace carpet so often. I have two hairy dogs, both I had as pups and boy was it helpful in knowing that dry carpet cleaning agents are not a good thing. I’ve always thought that, I’ve never been one to want to use that powder stuff and now I can say why lol. Pls keep educating what products we should and shouldn’t use because like the red stains that have been bleached… we don’t know until we find out the hard way

I believe I know of this product. It it's the one I'm thinking of, it is kind of a short term fix. Our industry tried something similar a few years ago. It didn't stay on the market long. Too much fiber distortion and wear and tear on home carpet so it didn't get popular

From matted down soiled mess to fluffy luxurious nap. This is why you buy Nylon carpet. You can always bring it back. I honestly think the main reason people don't buy carpet today is because of bad experiences with cheap polyester. The industry has done a really bad job of educating the consumer on how much of a difference carpet selection makes in the long run.

Nice work on those carpets! I'm happy you're demonstrating what's needed for tough urine-related tasks. Many folks don't realize the extra effort required. I had a similar tough job recently where I advised replacing the carpets due to a big dog that's never taken outside. Surprisingly, they didn't want to pay for an extra urine treatment. It would be great to understand how you navigate these talks with customers, considering it's a delicate topic for them. -Michael

Sorry forgot to mention handling the client on this topic. We do sometimes with a massive amount of urine mention on occasion it might be better to save your cleaning money and apply it to New carpet. Some will listen, but there are times the clients are buying time. Especially if the pet is still present and are struggling with life in general. We will tell them we cannot make it perfect probably but will do our best to help out. We understand how difficult it is to have a pet in the last times of their lives and the owner is really struggling making an end of life decision... Been there and we tell them that. We just try to be honest and even tell them, we make the products. They do very well but there will always be some damage that you cannot entirely fix. So with an honest conversation we seem to have good luck. And being the Zyme products work so well in general helping to eliminate odor and staining, it can be an overall positive experience for all of us. We also do not want to charge a crazy amount of money to gouge the client, but we also price it to help accommodate our time and expenses. Overall, we have good experiences, but it can be a difficult situation to explain to clients that just cleaning the carpet won't make it better... And sometimes will make it worse. Especially without any urine treatment.

Love the video! Recently moved into an apartment. The floors looked like they had been cleaned but may have only been vacuumed. We went over the carpet with a store bought carpet cleaner. You know the kind that says it gets out pet stains? There was a bunch of grayish tan Color in the tank. Not sure if that was just from the Carpet color or if it was actually dirt. Either way we went over it a few times just for our own conscience. The carpet looks decentbut we have been here for a few months now. And it's looking a bit matted where we're usually walk. If we use our carpet cleaner every few months will will it keep the carpet in decent shape?

I've watched hundreds and hundreds of these carpet cleaning videos. And the people in these videos are a joke. I can't believe that they actually think they are carpet cleaners. And that somebody would even hire them. Most of these ( so called ) carpet cleaners. Didn't even know the science behind the chemicals they were using. They were just told to use this for that and that for this and thats what they do. But there is one thing that ALL of these ( so called ) carpet cleaners did. That in my opinion is much more important than the lack of knowledge with their chemicals. And I was shocked when you started talking about it and some what doing it. A little bit. But what shocked me more is what you said when you were doing it. With all the great job and hard work you did with your pretreatment. I can not believe what you said and did. With all your knowledge and experience. I still can't believe it. What I'm talking about is the dry passes during extraction. Most of the ( so called ) carpet cleaners I've watched. Didn't even do ANY dry passes. And then the ones that did did one. And then when you started your extraction and you didn't do ANY dry passes. I thought WTF. But then when you got to the middle of that one room. And started doing dry passes. I thought maybe I'm wrong. And then you showed all the dirt and chemicals still coming up in the window on your wand. Then what you said totally blew me away. I still can't believe it. You see in my opinion, and from years of experience. And really just plain ol common sense. A carpet is not really totally clean. Until you can make passes over the carpet until CLEAN water is coming up. And then you keep doing dry passes till NO water comes up. This shows that the CARPET and PAD are both clean. And helps with the drying process. And keeps meldew and mold from forming in the pad. That is the definition of a clean carpet. There is nothing you can say to convince me that you got all the chemicals that you sprayed on that carpet out. Let alone all the dirt. What will happen is after a week. With people walking all over the carpet. All the left over chemicals and dirt will wick back up to the top of the carpet. And it will look like 💩 again. I've seen it thousands of times. Anyway I'm kinda impressed but not totally. I did subscribe though. Because I'm totally impressed with your knowledge of your chemicals and equipment. Also I don't mean to be such a dick and criticize or work. I'm just stating my opinion and facts. Take care. And I wish you the best of luck.

Welcome to the Channel, and thank you so much for your wonderful comment! I truly appreciate it and can tell your passion for our industry 😊. We truly value and promote dry passes...it's another cleaning pass to us and we just do them, even if not much is coming out. Because of the magic of KZread, a lot of our dry passes are edited out to keep things moving along in the videos, but you will not catch us not doing dry passes 😊👍. And you are truly correct, we would have some of the chemistry still in that carpet. I should first of all also let everyone know, we tried to talk this person out of cleaning these carpets and recommended replacement. We told them we feel it would be better to use the money towards new flooring. But they "wanted us to do our best" and this would probably be the last time we clean it. (I bet it might be in another video someday...LOL) We also don't try to charge a crazy amount for urine treatments. At that time we were charging $50 for the beginning of urine treatment to accommodate the extra time we have to allow the enzyme time to be working and the extra product cost. This one if I recall was around $75-$100 additional for urine enzyme treatment. We do try to heavily apply and leave that product behind to keep working in the carpet after we finish cleaning. I don't remember in this video if we applied another prespray after the 30 minute dwell time, but I think we did. We at times do not use another cleaner unless really trashed. Usually that coating of prespray is more for on top to help suspend all the soils more and keep them there for easier extraction. We know that most carpets will never be 100 percent clean again when in this terrible condition, but we do our best to try and accommodate, and educate the clients that they should clean more often if they are in a more soiling environment and more active family situations in the home....and a dog or cat continually urinating in the home will cause more damage that carpet cleaning might not fix. We do at times have some wick backs. We tell the clients if a problem, let us know and will address if needed. By luck, the enzyme product we have developed, does a really good job for us. But nothing is always perfect, especially when they were applying everything under the sink prior to us arriving 😁. I'm sure you can relate. Thank you again for your comment. We truly appreciate it. I can tell you are incredibly passionate about our industry, and we really value that. Look forward to seeing you again.😊
