WIKI "Mick" Box (born 9 June 1947, in Walthamstow, East London, England) is the lead guitarist of British rock group Uriah Heep, having previously been a member of The Stalkers and Spice, both with original Uriah Heep vocalist David Byron.He is the only member from the band's founding in 1969 who is still active with the group.He currently resides in North London with his second wife and son.

Mick exemplifies what is great about Londoners. He's one of the greatest guitarists of all time. What a great guy to be in a band with!

saw Heep in Liverpool in the early 70s,what a band! they gave everything for 3 hours,brilliant,Thanks Mick
First time that I saw the Heep was in Pittsburgh in 1974. They were amazing. Mick always puts a smile on your face and makes you feel good.
Great great interview!! Always liked Mick Box..great humour and stories. Eric did his HEEP homework! Good questions!! I was lucky enough to get Mick's guitar pic in Germany 1993 in Offenbach front row.

Ps. The Mucisian's Hall of Fame in Nashville - now _that's_ a whole different thing. Those people understand music, the craft and hard work.
