Urbex: ABANDONED Squatter Farmhouse
Ойын-сауық
*This place has since been demolished, actually not long after I documented it.*
A developer purchased the land from the owners for a fair market value so they can knock down the house and rebuild.
This farmhouse appears to have been abandoned since 2009 according to the latest date I could find on a calendar while exploring. There is also strong evidence that a squatter was/is staying here.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Thanks for watching!

Based on the bread, I'd say you were pretty lucky there wasn't anyone in there when you went in! I love these old homes and love seeing someone that walks through without disturbing anything. Although I must admit I'd be very tempted to start cleaning it up. Always breaks my heart to see what vandals do.
Definitely a squatter in that house! You should be very careful when entering houses like this. I would be terrified !! I would never enter an abandoned house without another person, especially as a female. You are so brave!!! The basement was creepy as hell!!!!

Canada wasn't affected by the collapse in 2008. I'm not sure why they moved out but there has been a lot of new development on the outskirts of the cities here in Southern Ontario, so I suspect another developer bought these people out for the land. I see a lot of that here.
You are so hrave for going in the basement! But pls be careful, i felt uneasy watching this one because it doesnt look like the squatter left becuas that bread wasnt moldy
This house really looks serviceable. A LOT of cleaning, and a ton of elbow grease and that could be a very nice house again.
I'd creep out once I saw that fresh looking bread.
One of the loafs of bread isnt moldy, also it looks like theres a half eaten pear on the table that isnt very rotten. He was probably still living there but was somewhere else when you visited. You should carry a self defense weapon.
That loaf of bread seemed farily fresh, so perhaps the person still uses this home as a place to live. If he/she was comsuming the dog food to stave off hunger, that absolutely breaks my heart. I hope things change for them.
I am so glad you are seeking out abandoned homes .It's so fascinating to explore old ones. You are doing a great job documenting them. I want to tell you that I love your accent!
Thanks for all the great tours! Please be careful and Happy Holidays Tiki! You're the greatest!
I really hate to see these big beautiful victorian homes go to waste . I love your videos
Merry Christmas Tiki! Thank you for taking us with you on your journeys!
Pam I just wanted to say as a fellow explorer I thoroughly enjoy your videos. You always make us feel like we are part of the adventure. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Thank you, Tiki, for the entertainment you've given this old lady this past year. Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year that includes many more homes filled with memories past.

How are you doing now?
There was a squater in this house , they just weren't there or hiding. That is fresh bread. Love how you showed the basement wall and is a rare type of construction method. That exterior wall had feild stone wall above the foundation, then at 3-ish feet goes to brick. Thank you for showing this !!
12:43 or I dunno....maybe the squatter just happens to have a pet dog/companion.
I'd be a bit unnerved by the sight of the loaf of bread.

TraditionalHymns its different if its your basement however if its a basement in an abandoned house that's different because you never know what you will find or if someone is in the house and traps you on the basement. She is so brave.

It's sad to see such lovely homes go to ruin.I'm glad you're documenting these finds. Please be careful.
I love all ur videos, always looking forward to more videos from u... I love the abandoned houses and etc, soo neat and always have some story in those places. The basement was pretty scary there...
It is so heartbroken that this place was demolished.
Note to self; If I ever abandon my house, be sure to leave a scary mask hanging on the basement wall... Just in case someone comes exploring with a flashlight someday.

Was thinking the same lol:).
always love these old farmhouses so peaceful, so historical, beautiful at one time, and trashed when the nutbars and woo woos get in.The basement was awesome, too bad it was a little dark, but that panel was an alarm system, so it had recently been updated, the crawlspace was great, when I worked at bell as a summer job back in 78 had to crawl through many of those.I see comments about creepy and hearing voices..the only thing I find scary about this is the colour scheme someone painted it lol. Great vid as always Pam. and have a great christmas and a very awesome new year.
Merry Christmas Tiki! Thanks for the awesome videos!!
At 1:39 I see a person thats wearing a blue t-shirt in the top window... its probarly a squatter. He/she could of hid somewhere when you where there?
This was a great tour tiki; another beautiful house, a squatters paradise torn down, lots of clues left behind and your a good detective, it's like listening to you narrate an episode of CSI :)
You are very brave going down into that basement. Happy New year!
That basement is scary as hell. I kept waiting for a face or a body to appear in the spotlight
Another great tour! Have a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year!
Merry Christmas to you Pam, from the UK again! Yet another great video and for some reason this house made me particularly sad. It was once a lovely family home in a nice setting, something about it really hit a note with me. I wonder why it was abandoned, all those trophies etc. Love the way so many houses in Canada have basements and proper stairs into the attic (or loft as we call them). Basement was very creepy for some reason... well done again
Happy Hollydays Pam,Outstanding work.
I watched this whilst putting up my Christmas Decorations :P Great video as always and a very Merry Christmas to you!
I like that these videos are respectful to the people that lived there. But yet, there is that sense of mystery.
Merry Christmas Pam! Another good video; nice looking house; very nice brick work.
By far, the darkest basement! Scary one too! and I don't scare easily. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours!
Great Videos as always Tiki. Merry Christmas!
Another great video! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours Tiki!
Yay new video! Thanks! Merry Christmas!
Great Video Tiki. Your lucky to find these houses that still have stuff in them. In my area, they are already so badly destroyed or cleaned out most of the time. Odd seeing the christmas cards so close to Christmas. Have a wonderful Holiday Tiki
Another great video. I'm getting caught up on watching u tube video's, so Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you! The weather here in Kentucky is nasty too' although driving through the country in the winter is nice because you find house's that have been hidden by tree's or other growth.Thank you for your video's!
Thanks for putting up your videos all year Tiki. Its always facinating seeing what people leave behind. This again is an old house that could still be saved and it always seems a shame that there isnt someone using it. I cant even think of any abandoned houses anywhere round Aucklands North Shore where i live here in New Zealand. Theyre are just to friggin expensive. Saw you in the mirror. Wondered what you looked like as youre always behind the camera. LOL Have asafe and happy christmas. - Andrew
I dont know how you go in the basements alone, your a brave lady! Great video as usual, merry Christmas!
Always enjoy your videos. merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. Looking forward to watching your adventures in 2014.
Another great video, merry Christmas and have a wonderful New Years!
For some reason this vid had a high Creep Factor score for me. Specially that dark basement. You truly are "a man" for going down there - even if you were creeped out yourself! Have a happy holiday season, Pam! Steve
Hey, it's me again.. Thanks for what I call The Christmas tour. I loved it. So glad you were safe in that dark basement. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
very nice video triki! wishing a merry xmas and a happy new year to u! be safe! hugs from Texas :)
Looking forward to new adventures. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you.
Another great video! I love to make up my own stories to go with them! Thanks for sharing!
ok I just want to say youy have king kong ballz. Your vids are like a Blair witch movie lol. I keep waiting for a raccoon or a dead body to fall out of a cabinet or a door. Dont let me get started on the basements. You wouldnt catch my 6'1 300lbs ass in one of those basements, you are surely one steel plated chica. I always feel like you are gonna shine the light and see someone standing face first in the corner , woooooooo, to dam spooky for me lol
My girlfriend and I both agree!... You have nerves of steel!. We would be far to scared to go down that dark creepy basement, lol. Great job and thanks for sharing:).
I always like your walk through of these abandoned spaces.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year Tiki As always - Thanks for all you do
The guy couldn't afford real food, but he could afford cigarettes. You are one brave woman, going by yourself like that.
another great vid. Thanks for sharing. Hope You had a wonderful Christmas and hope You have an awesome new year

Thank you so much, James! Glad you love my work, and a Happy New Year to you, also!
Great Video. Happy Christmas and a Very Happy New Year.
That was a creepy basement for sure. It's hard to believe that you go down in all of those creepy old basements with such ease. I am so afraid of basements that the house we moved from not long ago was very old and the 20 or so years that we lived in that house I can count on my right hand how many times I actually ventured down there. My mind works overtime and would hear things and think that spiders would jump on me or rats/mice would nibble on my feet.
Great as always! I think somebodys still living in the room with the bread. I wish you and your family merry christmas.
Cool explore! Such a wonderful building. When you walked up to the house, I thought it was a hockey puck farm! Tee hee. The cards made me sad. I would venture the squatter had a dog. Be safe in your journies. Thank you for sharing a part of your day with us!
"I haven't been inside yet. I like to film these raw, so that when I go in we all go in together..." Awwwww....how sweet! Thank you!
Hey Pam! Enjoyed your video!! I'm so glad the squatter wasn't still in there hiding! You would have definitely found him....LOL...Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!! Stay Safe!!!:)
Great find! It was a big house - and that basement was spooky, dont know how you do it, but please keep it up!
You need to find yourself an exploration partner for safety sake. The fresh looking bread was erie.
Merry Christmas Pam!! Another awesome video and house. I laughed when you said "are those condoms? LOL. Can't wait for the next adventure with Tiki Trex :-)
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Tiki
Merry Christmas and have a Happy new Year TikiTrex
Happy holidays! Another great video, really dark & scary basement...I rarely hear you say the word "scary". Definitely looks like someone might use that abandoned home for a place to stay, the clothes looked like they might even be for someone who goes to work...you never know... Thanks for sharing your videos. Always enjoyable!!!
Hello Pam,I have seen all your videos now over the last six weeks and whilst waiting for your new one have been looking at other peoples..wow none match your professional standard, how do you keep the camera so steady, and you always show what we want to see and narrate with a beautiful voice. Happy Christmas from a very stormy but mild England ! Xx

It's strange how so many leave their appliances behind, washer, dryer, fridge. Guess the trophies didn't mean much anymore either. We appreciate the tours, and may 2014 be an even better year for you. Happy Holidays Pam and best wishes!
Found your videos today, really like them You are a brave woman to go places
Thanks Pam , its 0755 here in Oz and I have just finished my shift so I am off to bed now it has been 105, stinking hot over here but today it has dropped to 80, much cooler and better for shut eye, now the condoms & diet drink is what I call over the top in safety:-]. Take care & once again Merry Christmas.
Thank you! Have a great holiday.
Cool! Found myself a new channel to get addicted to. I wish more people would make this kinds of long, uncut Urbex videos. I love it how you take your time to capture all the things you find. Personally i cant be as talkative as you can, because my camera sucks at capturing my voice.

Thanks for the nice comment! I'm glad you enjoy my videos.
It is so heartbreaking to see these homes destroyed. There is beauty in the history.
Great video, really could be perfect fixer upper. Did I miss, no fireplace? A Ghost at 5:12, I know LOL.. Your brave going into that basement, no handrail, & so dark.. Please be safe..
This is so sad! Trophies...Christmas cards...hockey equipment. Obviously for a young sportsman. Looks like he died and the people who lived there left his stuff and took off. Someone suggested that in the comments. Really looks that way :(
Awesome house! The one bread looked fresh. Maybe there was someone there still staying in that place. Whoever it was wasn't the neat tidy and clean type. LOL! I still worry about u running into some crazed loonatic out there in one of these places. I really liked this house though. Looked like a nice place to fix up. Hope u have a Merry Christmas. It seems the weather there isn't as bad as it is in Kansas City. We have ice and on top that we have 3 inches of snow. Its only 8 degrees today and the snow is falling again. Argh!
Hi Tiki...That basement is way too eerie for me...And you DEFINITELY hear some voices as you're heading down the stairs at about 18:40 or so and a little bit from there. I was also afraid for you that the "squatter" was still somewhere lurking inside the house. You seemed pretty calm and collected in the making of this video...even while in the basement. Wishing you MANY new adventures this coming New Year!
You are so brave.....MY GOODNESS I would be shaking like a leaf listening to the sounds from the wind alone, never mind an empty abandoned house...lol
Merry Christmas from Germany, I like to watch your explorations.
7:46 Wow i had that exact same portrait in my house growing up!
Wow, this house makes me sad. They had invested so much in their son's hockey....he did well in it. I can't imagine they just stopped needing it so it must have been some tragedy. The only personal items are the teenager's while everyone else moved on. I just imagine a broken father returning to this and leaving cards in memory of what used to be.
Merry Christmas to you and your family, cool video
enjoyed this exploration very much!
Merry Christmas to you Trex. :)
You are MUCH braver than I. I do NOT do basements or attics. LOL
Merry Christmas! Love yer vids!
Great video again. Hate basements always expecting to hear the door that goes into house slam shut!! Ugh
...and here I am watching this just after Christmas! LOL It never ceases to amaze me the things that people leave behind in houses. If nothing else, would it really take so much effort to sort it into a garbage can? >.
really enjoyed these vids,so subscribed, looking forward for more, where I come from in Scotland, lots of creepy old places to explore:}

Merry Xmas Tiki!
Great video of that house. Looks like it was really something at one time. Surprised that so many of the light fixtures were still in place. Would love to have that shower stall. It was cool! The shelving in the kitchen was like the one in a house I had years ago. Kind of concerned about you, as when you were in that one bedroom upstairs with the mattress, covers, pillow etc., those things looked as though they had been used recently. That one loaf of bread looks fresh and to me, I thought I saw an orange on the table as well. I know you are careful, but sometimes wish you had a companion along just in case. Thanks for the tidbit on the spider and egg sack, I love it.
Gee, hope the squatter didnt have to eat dog food..thanks again for taking us along Pam and you too have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Just wondering, have you ever experienced any eerie or paranormal happenings inside any of the houses you explore?
Another great video. That house made me sad though. Someone's most bsentimental possessions scattered like trash. Sometimes when I am watching these videos I feel like I would like to get in there and tidy up a bit. I hope you carry on exploring because you make it really interesting. Incidentally the weather today, here in the north of England is very much the same as the weather in the video. Very dark and stormy. It's going to be a wet and windy Christmas. Happy Christmas and a great new to you.
Got excited seeing a new update I paused the video and went and grabbed my chocolate covered pretzels to enjoy :)
