Urban Wild | David Attenborough's Wild City 2/6 | Go Wild

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

Explores Singapore’s hidden wilderness - overlooked areas of the island that are home to an astonishing variety of fascinating creatures. From thriving wetlands, empty buildings and sleepy islands, these are the secret treasures of the island’s wild. Joining a family of local otters in Sungei Buloh, we’ll meet a variety of strange and compelling sights, like the base-jumping colugo, romantic fiddler crabs and Singapore’s oldest predators - the crocodiles. A stunning expose of the rich diversity of life on Singapore, this is a surprising new look that is a world away from what we think we know about our home.

It's amazing how nature tends to find ways to adapt and thrive in the urban space

@@Davey-TheDJ I can't believe he's 98 already! (May 8, 2024) Where has the time gone?! 🥰 Too many don't call him by his title, Sir, he's earned that a 1000 times over!

Like so many others I've grown up watching Sir David's wonderful documentaries. Thanks to all involved in this most interesting production. I have a question. Why was Katarina ostracised from the troupe in the first place? Was it her injured hand or was she an outsider trying to gain admission to this family? Happy it turned out well for her in the end due to her prudent approach.

I thought Singapore had some of the strictest litter laws anywhere; you get fined for throwing a cigarette butt on the ground! So, seeing all that thrash in the water is alarming to say the least!

Sad to me when someone like Dawid sings praises to nature in all its diversity and yet give no recognition or honor to the God who made it all happen.
