it's really great that after every detail you added i kept thinking "ok it's perfect now, no need to add anything else" then you add some lines and it gets more perfect... and that was even before you added the colours. This is talent and i sincerely thank you for showing and teaching it to others.

Thank you for your message and comment! My purpose of recording these videos is to share a fact that I believe-observe more, think more and practice, and soon we will be pleasantly surprised to find that we will also become very good. Because I used to improve step by step like this.

Dear Friend, it's been 3 years since you posted your work. It is beautiful, this is a spot-on example of what quick sketching should be. Your example looks very strong from a piece of the Forum Romanum looking from the East. Outstanding sketching, thank you for sharing. Cheers.

Ciao, i saw that in this video you made the sketch directly in pen without using the pencil first. In my works, too, I prefer to work directly with ink because I noticed that if I first draw in pencil the work is more rigid and less spontaneous and fresh. I'd love to hear your opinion on this.

Ciao Francesco, In my previous videos, I occasionally started to draft with a pencil. Because I want friends who are just starting to sketch to understand that if you start a draft with a pencil, you can control the main architectural relationships by just drawing some lines. Yes, just like you said drafts that are too detailed will limit our ink lines. If we don’t use a pencil to start a draft, we just need to know that the sketch is not a photo. Don't worry too much about accuracy. Let the line follow the pen tip to fly freely. Sketch needs to be unconstrained
