Great presentation and advice Taylor! I'm in sales now for 5 decades and you're a natural for sure! I've just started doing this where we live in Connecticut at the beach. Been using OnXMaps and contacting homeowners, but finding so many owners renting out to college kids. They're concerned about what the parents might think! We've lived here now since 1999, so I'm definitely local. I know who's feeding them corn, and who's feeding them carrots (yes by hand)! The problem is that the two owns a couple of swats of land in this 7 1/2 acre swamp, that currently holds nearly 20 deer! But I'm hopeful that I can get some permits for next year's January season. Thanks for sharing.

It's crazy that the cover of the book really decides your fate. But it's true. People defintly do judge. If you're an ugly fella with scraggly hair and missing teeth. You're chances are slim. You defintly have to know how to talk to people. It's crazy how times have changed. I grew up in the late 80's early 90's and you could walk up to a home with your camo on and blood on your hands and most folks would say sure no problem. Now days you have to be politicly correct. Hunting has defintly changed. For the worse i Beleive. I remember when hunting was hunting. Now days it's about bragging rights and showing off fancy gear and food plots and last but not least. The almighty dollar. And i Beleive that's why it's so hard to hunt these days.

Man im in Australia where it is so green. There is deer everywhere but getting permission is almost impossible as owners love the deer or they hunt themselves. Its the hardest part of bowhunting for sure. Great tips though I do follow then and had a yes once or twice

Like 👍 your presentation.Very well articulated and knowledgeable.. I’m 86 .Shot many methods of Archery in my lifetime. Harvested over 100 deer in various applications . Presently I shoot out of a blind with my crossbow..It’s getting to be too involved where I hunt now to cause me to change my approach in 2021. I have had 5 deer in back of my house , 3 doe a few days ago behind the courthouse..You can see that the deer are yarding up ... My question to you Taylor is usually these houses do not own this property but it’s in your best interest to obtain permission first..,This gives you access.. Any help would be greatly appreciated..Thank you !!🦌🏹🛼

You said you know that the deer are on the property and you have proof and have seen the damage, do you go into the property before asking for permission to hunt? Or how do you know all the signs of them are there

Does gaining permission from the property owner allow you to hunt 365 days a year or are you still obligated to follow your states hunting season schedule? Where I am currently located the minimum acreage to bow hunt for deer is 10. Can you gain permission from neighboring property’s to meet that minimum?
