The lack of 24hr fuel stations in wales catches a lot of people out including myself. I lived in Aberystwyth for a few years and when returning from a business trip to Maastricht I was 15hrs into the drive when I crossed the severn bridge with about a quarter of a tank left in my fiat punto. It didn't even cross my mind that it was about 10:00pm until I was down to about an 8th of a tank and every fuel station I had passed had been shut, I pulled in at a pub in some town and asked a bloke standing outside where the nearest 24hr fuel station was to which he replied "Gloucester?". He looked at the fuel gauge and asked where I was heading before telling me I had no chance, he did however give me a packet of mini cheddars and wished me luck. My determination not to have to spend the night on a forecourt in a car I'd already spent the whole day in persuaded me to do the most nerve wracking eco drive I've ever done but I somehow made it home on fumes, the car gave its first cough just as I crested the hill that leads back into aberystwyth and refused to fire up the next morning until I had given it a jerry can of fuel.
Smashing film Alan , met you when your where filming this at our lake in Belfast , your a top bloke , took the time to have a great chat about all things life and fishing , hope to catch up with you again sometime

Brilliant too see a video on a local water, I’m sure you have been back last week aswell? Me and my cousin went last week around 12 am too camp for a night and recognised the van and boat etc after watching this video, certain it was Alan back again

Alan brings passion to fishing, if it’s a 40 or if it’s a pastie, he never fails to smile. He is what in my eyes a fisherman should be like, lads at Nash are good though, customer service is proper good as well and down to earth

Depends largely on what you're using it for, if it's for stalking work or just in the edge then a Scope GT4000 is light and more than up to the job, for general all-round work the Scope GT6000's are solid and dependable 🎣

Cant believe you didn't fish the canal or one of the many public parks in Glasgow, they're rife with carp. Old characters thats have grown to enormous sizes and sight fishing at it finest...even myself a majority lure angler have had them out over 20lbs freelining Maggots.
You think a bream off the top is bizarre... I thought catching a tench off the top was... Until I caught a barbel off the top...

Why does all nash zt cloths shrink had all the hoodies had the new scope joggers and after 4 washers they have shrunk defo not worth 75 quid and no they have never been in a dryer or washer over 30c

@Darren Mulholland I have a normal black hoodie they sell that's fine got the new t-shirt with the carp in the back that's shrank had the first zt in green years back that shrank then every other zt hoodie since love the look of the new scope HD hoodie but don't want to spend 100 quid on a hoodie when I can get far better make like Northface just not with nash camo
