Do you feel better while you're around kids? What's your attitude towards children in general? I never liked children or being around them (partially due to being especially poor at interacting with them) before I became depressed, but with years I came to a point where they began to evoke really strong feeling which are ambivalent. Like... I can find some solace in their cheerful innocence and naivety, which really compels to cherish them; as well as remember my own happy days as a kid. But on the other hand those same things are quite painful since they're a reminder of a personal paradise lost (and I can't help myself but think about them loosing it too, eventually, some becoming depressed as well). Sometimes I think that maybe I should try working with children, but... I'm afraid it'll be more painful than not and I may spill my extreme negativity on them which I've been prone to do for quite some time now even despite doing my best not to.

@@juanblanco7898i remember feeling this way around kids when I was at the worst of my own depression in my early 20s. I was crying often thinking about how I missed my childhood and I missed what it felt like to feel like them. I also cried for them and for their eventual loss of innocence. I didn’t want them to become like me. I’m doing a lot better now in my late 20s and I think I can work with them now for sure. But I do think it takes a lot of mental healing and addressing your own pain for several years before being able to work around kids without feeling that painful nostalgia or that sadness for them

What's funny to me is back when I was a teenager, I tend to watch intense anime most of the time like shounen, heavy romance-drama, and horror. When I started working, I find myself more into slice of life where the drama is less or non existent like Yuru Camp as if I became somewhat a very tired person in need of a relaxed show to heal my soul. I found Uramichi-san and I thought it was just your typical cutesy anime but I liked it more when I find it so relatable especially that I worked as a very crucial part of a company when this aired. 😂

I was crying often thinking about how I missed my childhood and I missed what it felt like to feel like them. I also cried for them and for their eventual loss of innocence. I didn’t want them to become like me. I’m doing a lot better now in my late 20s and I think I can work with them now for sure. But I do think it takes a lot of mental healing and addressing your own pain for several years before being able to work around kids without feeling that painful nostalgia or that sadness for them. Not saying you couldn’t do it if you didn’t want to. But I think you’d be able to deal with those feelings better and address them in a more bittersweet way as opposed to a more depressed way after healing
This series is just a personal attack on me, at this point.
As much as depressed he sounds he's actually a really nice and kind person.

Jesus that second last monologue when he picked up the balls is waaay too relatable. Its like he’s speaking inside my head. Why algorithm? Looks like i need to watch this crying and laughing.
The way his voice just changes
Uramichi: "Who's feeling weary and having a hard day, so you don't wanna do anything?" Me: "*raises hand*"
I am surprised I haven't found this Anime to watch the first clip just hit me to the core
I sometimes wish I could say some of the things he said to relieve my stress but it wouldn’t work in real life 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Those kids that said, freedom, heart and hope has finally graduated from the show because they understand him now 😂
Dude hes voice become more levi like when his depressed, i mean of course since levi is always depressed. Same as me what am i even doing right now sometime i wish i just slept and never wake up only to wake up and confronted again with reality.
When you became an adult, everything sucks...
Why is this guy so relatable when he’s like 15 years older than me 😭🙏

Uramuchi is my idol in life
Feeling this in my soul as I have worked at a cafe, watching people spend good times there and laughing while my boss overworks the hell out of my 32yo, crusty body for a min wage... I'm smiling politely while taking a customer's order, yet my soul exits through my pores every time I hear their legitimately joyful laughter...
