For example, let’s say Drew will be constantly trying to win attempts at a shot at the belts but punk keeps getting in the way, but what that will do is affect the other wrestlers trying to get ahead so it’s basically interfering with what everyone else is doing

Oddly I think Iyo took so much more damage from that Michinoku driver that Starks did. She slammed right into her tail bone, I don't think she was selling afterwards. Zoey had a relatively soft landing by comparison. Also, despite the rocky start, I do think the veterans did a good job of keeping things from descending into chaos, Iyo deserves props for protecting Lyra, and when Naomi was balanced between the two ladders she was in a very precarious and potentially dangerous position when it began to topple, so her balance and athleticism should be noted, I don't know how she kept it together.

I'm fine giving Damian a pass on the kickout, if it did end up being his fault. People make mistakes, and as far as I'm aware, he doesn't have a history of making a ton of them. Just a bad day at the office. It's really unfortunate, though, that the camera was in the *perfect* position to show the non-kickout. If they ever need this moment for a video package, I hope they have other camera angles where it's a bit more obscured. The biggest down for me is putting Damian vs. Rollins in the middle of the show. It just reinforces the idea that the Heavyweight Championship is a secondary title, and nothing that happened in RKOdy vs. Bloodline 2: Electric Boogaloo required the main event spot. If Roman had come back tonight, I would get it, but the whole story was "Jacob Fatu is a monster." That message could have come across just as clearly in the middle of the show, and Punk screwing Drew would have been a fantastic scene to end the PPV on.

Ultimate 2025 mens MITB match. Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, LA Knight - all good enough to win and hold the title, but never have Kevin Owens, Finn Balor - both had one lack-luster reign and way better careers without it (want redemption) John Cena, CM Punk, AJ Styles - all three retiring if they lose - Cena says if he wins MITB he will challenge for 17th reign. When he wins title, he will immediately vacate it and retire. - Punk says due to injuries MITB cash-in will be his last match, and he will retire the ONLY 3time MITB winner and the ONLY 3time successful MITB cashin. Also, he is cashing to main event WrestleMania. - AJ styles said if he wins he will also retire after cashing in. But hints maybe for other than a WWE World Championship (because after winning championshps all over the world he wants to wrestle someone better than a wwe champion. After he loses MiTB it revealed to be a triple threat match against Balor and Rhodes - two members of a certain club. The one that the member led a mutany against so he could lead and the one who couldn't become leader when the club was going through the toilet because he left (this is AJs distorted versions of the truth). He loses cause this match can still happen. Seriously - 8 people and unlike most MITB matches, most of theae competitors are likely to win. With Knight Punk Cena being heavily favored. Zayn Uso mid level, and Styles, Balor, Owens less likely. Follow up - Styles v Balor v Rhodes - Owens v Zayn - Cena v Punk (mania main event Night 1) - LA Knight (wins rumble v Gunther at mania)😮 - at summerslam Jey Uso is bullied into Cashing in MITB (by Jey) to make the title match of "a title changes on DQ" Silo (c) v Rhodes match a triple threat. He helps Solo retain the title as basically a willing assistant - New Bloodline (members who are in it now-Solo no longer champion this point) v Reigns (first match since mania 24) both Usos and The Rock, mania 2026 to night 1

Bron is getting the belt at Summerslam. The story will most likely play out that he was a little too cocky against Sami because he underestimated Sami. They will have a rematch, and Bron will absolutely destroy Sami in that match. As for the Falcon Arrow spot, I felt maybe Damian didn't kick out because of something, but the ref checked on Damian like three times after the spot. It made me think maybe something did happen to Damian in that spot. But then again, he came back and won, so maybe he was waiting for the music cue.

Wasn't much of a fan of Drew winning MITB. It was really predictable that Punk would screw him over the moment he would cash it in. I feel like they could've had Punk screw Drew in the Ladder match already, so that we at least have someone else keep the briefcase for a while, instead of cashing it in the same night, which I'm never a fan of. I just feel like that the feud between them didn't needed Drew winning the briefcase just for Punk to screw him over again. Now the guys don't have a cash-in for a whole year, which is always nice to have the element of suprise in the back of the mind.

@@kimjung2442 Literally anyone in that match with the MITB case would've been more interesting than Drew. This quite literally took half the excitement out of the PLE. It was basically just a women's MITB match that had any storytelling / any post-PLE impact. We all knew Solo was pinning Cody. Nothing new there. We all knew Punk would screw Drew. We get it, they hate each other.. Nothing new there. The men MITB match was nulled and voided the moment they fkd up with Drew's cash-in. This basically makes the MITB match and WHC match pointless (except Seth now officially hates CM Punk, which could've easily been done on a regular show..) And I love Sami, but that was the point to get the title on Bron. Now he literally appears to be weak, back down the chain. Him taking the clean pin after a SINGLE finisher makes him look extremely bad

  • @jonpray5509

Predictable doesn't mean bad. There weren't a lot of other great options for winners with who they had. The best two alternatives are LA Knight and Jey Uso, who both shouldn't need the MITB to get their first singles gold and having a cash-in would probably detract from that accomplishment. Drew winning and subsequent rage to try to cash in makes sense. It definitely adds to the story behind the feud because it continues to portray as Drew becoming so incensed with anger that he isn't thinking, while CM Punk continues to be cunning and for the most part ahead every step of the way. As nice as the element of surprise is, I'm more confident that it means creative has a strong direction to take both titles for the next year and don't need to rely on a cheap cash-in to revitalize a story.
