I haven't seen this mentioned by anyone. The wide sweeping shot of Danielson on the balcony while the entire crowd was doing yes chant with Final Countdown playing was a beautiful visual. It is hands down my favorite thing in this entire PPV. And probably my number 1 wrestling moment of this year thusfar. GOLDEN UP

I guess some people just really love that Indy lookin stuff huh more than an actually good produced wrestling show , Cody Rhodes finishing the story is the best thing to come out of ALL of professional wrestling in the last 10 years that little camera angle shot of danielson was the best thing you’ve seen this year wow where have the standards gone 😂😂sami Zayns entrance a couple weeks ago on Monday night raw in Montreal was even 10x better than that 😂

As we complain about the run time of the ppv, we can’t forget the majority of us are paying $50 for the event so why would we not want our money’s worth and get a huge show? Obviously fatigue and stuff but my experience going to AEW shows and watching the ppv’s is that they truly value their fans and want them feel fulfilled and entertained. 4.5 hours is well worth $50, 2.5 would not be imo

  • @jaybee4288

You get diminishing returns. They can only stay entertaining for so long. It’s the main reason wrestlemania went two nights and arguably they’re still both far too long. 3 hours seems to be the sweet spot. I get what you’re saying but they could have cut one hour off this show and you wouldn’t feel any differently about how much you enjoyed it and what value for money it was.

Another Show of the Year contender. Just amazing top to bottom. I do think Takeshita and Trent should have won their matches. If their losses lead to continued stories, thats fine, but I don't think Mox and Cassidy need to win as often as they do. Mox being injured was the perfect setup for him taking the L, too, do I'm not sure why they didn't go that route. For me, those would've been the only two downs, and even then, only small ones.

I haven't watched "ups & downs" in months (aew or otherwise), but had to after this ridiculously awesome PPV! Thanks for covering it and best wishes from Oregon, USA! I had a blast watching the matches, high points for me were Osprey, MJF, and Anarchy, but i really enjoyed the entire show. The crowd was down a bit for more matches than usual, maybe they need to try a different area? Maybe Jersey so they could keep the gambeling theme, it would be a better viewing experience with a hotter crowd🤷‍♂️. I know AEW hasnt been hot recently, but crowds normally show up for PPV's

After AEW's Double or Nothing PPV, all I can say is... I FUXKIN love professional wrestling! It's so much fun. Every emotion possible was felt tonight. Happiness, sadness, nostalgia, hilarity... Wrestling, (when done right) is just a great, fun, ridiculous, stupid, entertaining, athletic, and any other adjective you can think of... Amazing time! I challenge you to find a better form of entertainment. Long live professional wrestling. ❤️

Adam went down feet first off the cage (which could cause injury to anyone) I think to protect his spine the best he could; it reminded me that he tore his Achilles in 2009; even after 15 years, an injury like *that* doesn't 100% heal. That spot may have reaggravated it, or caused an all-new injury...

I think Anarchy in the Arena might have had a bit too much anarchy. The crowd was really into the music battles, but died after Perry got set on fire. Might have been too many attempted murders. Also the refs need to learn how necks work and look behind them from time to time.
