Latest inverters facilitate the ups technology as well. Just u will get a UPS/normal switch behind the inverter/ or any where in buttons. In exide hybrid inverters u will find it on front side in buttons.

It is said by you is that maintenance of inverter is high is not correct. If you fix smf or lithium ion battery inverter maintenance will low. It means battery type and quality is playing important role in maintenace.
