    Very good recipe 👏👏. Thank u. For all the people suspicious abt the recipe.. this is a typical Hubli Uppitt.. not upma.. not kara baath.. yes sugar is added n loads of it..itz balanced with chillies.. its on the oily side too wen compared to other upmas.. also seen the rava roasting doubt in many comments.. just try it once maybe a little quantity n then review.. believe it or not, it is actually very very yummy. People who hate upma will also relish it. Beware its addictive 😀. Make sure to order it in hotels if u ever visit hubli dharwad.

    Simple and satisfying! I am going to try this now. Because we always roast the rava, add lemon juice then leave it to cook, covered on slow flame, for atleast five minutes more. But this is faster, so let me try. Also we add chopped carrots, peas, roasted split peanuts then lots of coriander and grated fresh coconut. So much goes in to this. Asafoetida goes in while frying onions, chilly and ginger. Yet people call it concrete!

    Mine was waaakkkk... I don't know where I went wrong... All rava bundle and full lumps formed! The taste was very sweet and finally I came to know that I didn't follow the video properly..

    It needs more water. Means 4 times water is required. I did with 3 times water and it was with full of lumps. She has to inform all on this

    It is very best way. I liked it. However, only one thing, Don't feel bad, pldo not use steel spoon in non stick pan, you may use wooden spoon. Thank you. Your presentation was very good, when you put it upside down on a plate.

    Simply cooking this receipe in this state is called uppittu. There is a spicy version in my state which is called upma. Here is the translation this is made vth semolina or rava mode of preparation. Put little oil In the pan crown in the picture add mustard seeds when splutter add cumin seeds and moongdal whemtit becomes brownish add green chilly and 3 big red onion sauté for some time now the ratio is 1:3 i cup rava 3 cup wAter b4 that add required amount of salt and sugar in the onion now add 3 glass of water make it boil vn vapor comes add semolina as shown in the pic reduce the flame as medium don’t wait for fully dry if the flame vn it is watery cause rava thickens soon as it becomes stick serve it hot enjoy
