Upper Stony Creek - Byfield Adventure Part 1
G'day G'day,
Our good Friends Tony & Renai have hit the road. First stop is to visit us. We were stoked as to see them again and havn't been around a camp fire since Wunjunga at the end of our Cape York adventure. So you could say it's been way too long. 5 Rocks beach has been on the to do list for both Tony and I for many years. Since moving to Mackay it's really only just down the road. However we knew they would be up here and wanted to save the adventure until now. So here we are. The first installment.
We chose to stay at Upper Stony Creek for it's easy access and use it as our base camp into the National Park and surrounding area.

Nice looking brisket Tim. Had my stomach rumbling here just before dinner. I hope they weighed before they wrapped it though, there must have been half a kilo of aluminum foil around it😆 Winter is upon you, gotta love perpetual summertime!

Haha... I didn't want it leaking thru the fridge. So yeah used a hell of alot of foil. Yeah it's actually cooling down a bit here. Especially in the morning. But once the sun is out. It's still shorts and singlet.

Thanks Denis. Glad you enjoyed. Nah we didn't... the sign freaked us out a little bit but got over it after a while. It's very clear water. So we could kind of see where we were stepping. But we mostly waded and had inflatables. So we were all good. Tell ya what though.... Mozzies!!!
Hey mate good to see your going well another cracking vid only couple of weeks till I leave for the Cape looking forward to it we leave on the 29 th so probably be through mackay on the 1 st anyway 👍👍as usual mate love the content

Thanks heaps Adrian. You must be getting excited!!! I've been watching the facebook pages regarding Cape York. Think I saw it was only last week the first vehicles were thru the tele track.

Haha... yeah it's been a few weeks. It's been a busy past couple of months. but don't worry been editing all weekend. Got alot of footage to go thru. Probably have 4-6 weeks worth of vids coming.
