Upper Oilcan has My Favourite Skinnies in the World
When Mirka gave me a call and asked if I could film one of Dave's (and my) favourite trails since she couldn't make the trek back to Canada, it was a pretty easy sell. Stoked that this only took one shot to film with a no-dab, top to bottom Upper Oilcan WITH the discombobulator. Sorry it took a few months longer than expected, but I really wanted to nail this one. This one's for you Dave!

As a dad to a teenaged son, a helmet is second, knee pads are third but your point is well taken.

@@PL-fh8cz I agree but we have always had brain buckets on since he could ride his trike :) I am the helmet police ;)
I was lucky enough to meet Dave, Dale. On this very hill. I was on a quick "commute" when I ran into both Dave and Mirka on the climb up. I randomly met him again on a second visit he made with his buddy. Super nice guy and a huge loss to the mountain bike world. Ride on Dave. I also designed the TAP logo as a Director of NSMBA, when we developed the programme. So cool to see it alongside the trailhead for Dave.

That is some cool history, thanks for sharing!
Hello, great video again, I had the pleasure of meeting Dave quite a few times, he was a very nice approachable guy. This trail is a great tribute to a top guy. Thanks, you Canadians are very thoughtful.
Well done, nailed it!!! Those skinnys are impressive 😎👍
Great tribute Dale. 👌 no surprise that you have fans in high places.
One of the first videos of yours I watched was an oil can one and I love that it’s back! And for a great cause
That was a really great clean run. You were especially smooth through the skinnies. Nicely narrated, too.
That was awesome! And nice bonus at the end haha, I ride that trail all the time.
Hell yeah dude. It's so weird seeing oilcan without a swampy mess below all the skinnies! Hope you guys get some rain down there (but not too much...)
What an amazingly well designed trail! Great riding!
Good job Dale, real nice to do that for the family and do it clean the very first run. Know this is one of yours and DDs favs because of those skinnies.
dale, you are my hero! It's incredibly fun to watch you, even if I'm "only" with an ebike Ruff lil buddy on the trails, one can learn so much from you. eg calm, balance and sometimes jump over his own shadow. Thanks for showing...greetings from Germany
Well you made that look easy.
Awesome trail, its on my list!
Still looks one of the more scary ones! Great video and skill. 👍
Sound and track is just satisfying :D
Nice work!
Absolute INSANITY!!! WOW!
it makes me want to take the bike again today :)
Maybe the best mtb video on youtube? Yes, in my opinion.

Hey man. New-ish to your channel and I got to ask, what's with the bell sound a few times each video? Are you trying to condition us, Pavlov's bell style? ...All I know is I.must.subscribe.

Bro do you ever take a pause or crash because what it looks to me is that you took 1 break the entire time! And I can’t even hear you breathing. Your insane!!!

Dale, what action cam and settings did you use to record this ride? The clarity is absolutely killer, as is this ride and your riding! Cheers!
