Nice, your little OP machine looks very similar to my Black&decker and these little OP machines work very well on furniture and they are cheap to buy. I have been using mine for about 3 years now and so far no problem except the switch that cost about $10 to replace.

if sofa as usual with a lot of dog hair and urine stains? I think only hot water extraction would help.

If you like foam generation, you would like a Von Schrader.

How finding parts and availability for von schrader. In Canada it’s too expensive to get parts and not worth the frustration. I say this using them but when they die or need parts I’m getting off the Von schrader train!

How do you know it was cotton? Isn't that unusual for carpet?

I live on an island with some pretty rich folks 😂😂 not me …. I get unusually expensive carpets some times and the home owners save their paperwork from original purchase. 😂 not seen in other areas I service as much.

When cleaning with a pad, the soil is transferred from the material into the pad. Like using a make up wipe on your face 👍🏼👍🏼

Dude thats not polished cotton! Polished cotton hasn't been around since the 90's. Unless that sofa is 25 yrs old? Polished cotton is almost always light coloured and floral
